Cottage Tandoori was the best food we have had in Manchester. The lamb chops are absolutely amazing and the King Prawn curries are out of this world! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! Louise Marshall

Me and my husband had a great meal here on Tuesday 11 January 2011. This is a brilliant 'classic' style Indian restaurant with a good range of traditional dishes and a stunning list of 'specials'. We eat out Indian food regularly and The Cottage Tandoori has the tastiest food for miles! The chef is marvellous! We started with poppadoms and chutneys; the lime pickle is very tasty; there was also yogurt sauce, mango chutney and onions. For our starters we had two different kebabs; chicken and lamb. Both were really nice and spicy and were served hot with a side salad and lemon wedge. For our main course we had a kofta masala which was lamb balls in a rich marsalla sauce and a mutta aloo keema; this is one of my favourite dishes and consists of minced lamb cooked with peas and potato in a delicious spicy sauce. Mmm! We had rice and chips on the side. The chips were properly cooked and the rice was nice and fluffy. I washed it all down with a couple of Bangla beers! At the end of your meal you receive fresh orange, a hot towel and After Eights. The restaurant has a comfortable bar area where you can wait for a take away or wait for friends. The bar is well stocked and there is a particularly good selection of bottled beers. The service is good; the staff are nice and friendly. I would highly recommend it for a top quality reasonably priced meal.
