We visited this restaurant on the 16th October. On arrival our reservation was not in the diary and there was some uncertainty as to whether there was an available table.
After some moving of chairs we were given a table beside the main door which was open and drafty and residents and staff were constantly passing by.
We asked to move. The second table was adjacent to the adjoining wall of the banqueting suite. A very noisy was wedding was in full swing and the music resonating through the door meant that any attempt at conversation was impossible without shouting at each other across the table. At some point an auto-electric piano situated one table behind us started to play-but the noise from the wedding was so loud we could not hear it.
The food, had we been able to enjoy it, was of good quality, nicely presented and cooked- although the portions were a little on the small side.Diners are invited to have an after dinner drink in the bar area. This would have been a far from pleasant experience due to the disco, and guests going in and out of the wedding and so we declined.
Our advice to anyone thinking of visiting this restaurant is don't go at the weekend.
There are far too many quality restaurants in this area , where dinner can be enjoyed at leisure and in peace.
