What sets Lorenzo's apart from the many other Italian restaurants on the Fylde Coast is a menu that's heavily influenced by northern Italian cooking, specifically from the area around Lake Garda. Head Chef Sue Lorenzini trained with famous Italian chef Roberto Cressini in Italy and at Lorenzo's they take the best local Lancashire produce and prepare it in the north Italian manner, focusing on herbs, seasoning and the natural flavours of the food, as opposed to the more familiar tomato- and garlic-based dishes of the south. Yes, you'll find all the usual pizza and pasta suspects here but it's the house speciality dishes that showcase the cooking. The restaurant has had a recent refurb, adding a private dining room for 40 people and a much larger kitchen. The wine list has been personally selected by the proprietor and you must also try the fantastic range of grappa. Lorenzo's opens at 5.30pm for dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Mondays.

My wife and I were very impressed with Lorenzo's last night. Drinks in the bar area whilst ordering from the menu which is excellent. We had a mixed Cicchetti shared starter, an Italian cassoulet,, chicken Mafiosa, a stunning pavlova to share and some tip top sherry cask aged Grappe to top it all off! The service was professional and my wife commented that she felt like she was in Italy. We really liked the fact that the restaurant is not a typical Italian that are everywhere locally. It's a family business and that shows in the care and attention to detail. Highly recommended.
Excellent food Good value .Will go again.
wonderful service and quality food. The service was seamless, the food delicious. We will be back!
If you like to eat, and you enjoy top notch food, then drop in and enjoy the treat that is sue's cooking. Whatever you order will be a cut above what your expecting. Brilliant.
Had my daughter's 21st here in the function room. I can not praise the place enough. The food was excellent and the service was better than excellent. Having eaten here many times before I was expecting it to be good and it didn't disappoint.
We went for the burns evening and had the set three course menu it was fabulous and the guest speaker was great we had a lovely evening and are going to be booking again real soon you will not be disappointed what ever you choose on the menu.
Very disappointing and not worth the one hour drive from Manchester. My partner and I dined on the special menu last night (2 courses £9.90). We were the first people to arrive at 6.00 p.m. and I would not say we got a warm welcome. My partner made a couple of queries regarding items on the menu with the waiter and then we were very rudely addressed by the owner asking us what was the problem with the menu, you either choose from the special offer or the a la carte. Totally uncalled for because we were not causing any problems. To make matters worse my partner almost broke his tooth on what appeared to be a stone in his main mail. We immediately brought it to the attention of the waiter who took the piece into the kitchen (did not remove my partners meal) and went to investigate with the chef. He came back after quite some time to say the chef had cooked the item down and it was not a stone and had probably come out of the vegetables. No apology no offer of a replacement meal. Needless to say my partner left the rest of his meal. We will definitely not be returning.
I don't Agree with all your other reviewers I have had a bad meal at this restaurant and wont be going again. You should be fair and show all reviews good or bad and you so obviously only print good ones. This does not give a fair picture I have friends who have also had bad meals there so it was not just a one off. Give the wider picture.
Had a wonderful meal here last week. Good service, food and wine. The best place to eat in that area.
Lorenzo's is by far the best restaurant in the fylde. The food is excellent and the service is on par with what you expect at a 5 star hotel. Will return most definitely. Cannot fault the place. my new favourite restaurant.
