Three of us just had a Sunday lunch at Pugsley's Piccolo Italia and it was fabulous! Owner was a charming lady and the food was really really good. It was our first time there and it will be a regular for Sunday lunch from now on. 10/10 loved it.

If you want to experience the best ever Pizza & Chocolate Mousse to die for, than you must visit Pugley's Piccolo Italia. We are lucky that we only live 15 miles away so can eat there when we are able to but we would travel further if we had to! We don't want to praise them too much as we might not get a table next time due to the popularity but if you like an authentic Italian evening then you must give it a try.
PS Don't all rush tonight as we want to get a table there !!

My husband and I went here on the 7th July. The whole experience was fantastic. It was great to be an atmosphere that was relaxed and not being rushed through like a number. I had calamari to start, the best I have ever eating (not chewy). My husband has the crostini (this was like a meal in itself) Main course we both had pizza, these we like what experienced when we were in Italy. Dessert was sublime. Homemade cheesecake and Banoffee pie (heavenly) we visit Barnstable quite often and we will definitely going back. We very nearly did on the Sunday, as most places are shut on Sundays. It was only because it rained that we ate in the Hotel.

my husband and I ate at Piccolo Italia on arrival we felt like we were back in Italy with the sound of madolin music, we were seated next to the water feature in the window which i loved as we could sit and watch people outside, I ordered the Capri salad (baked tomato, basil, olives and fresh basil)my husband had the antipasto misto (a selection of Italian meats)for main i had the carbonara and my husband had a homemade lasagne from the specials. to finish we had a homemade tiramisu to share as we were very full. all of which were very tasty i will be going back and definitely recommend it.
