I stop by for a meal whenever I'm visiting the area because the staff and service are wonderful, and the food is always delicious.

Booked online for lunch for 4 people yesterday, excellent service and really fantastic food. Buffalo Seitan Focaccia sandwich was awesome! Very attentive and friendly staff and nothing too much trouble, even my 3 year old spilling chocolate milk everywhere wasn't an issue! 100% recommended and will definitely be back :)

Excellent service, fantastic food. We have been in the area on holidays 4 times, we book this for sunday lunch everytime and will continue to do so. Well recommend you pay them a visit.

My husband and I enjoyed a very tasty meal at The Old Courtyard. There was a good variety of dishes to choose from including vegetarian and vegan options and the staff were helpful and informative. Although the building is grand, the atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and relaxed. We definitely recommend this place and hope to return.

Lovely evening. I had scallops as a starter and half lobster thermidor for a main. Both cooked to perfection. Staff were attentive but not over the top. Nice atmosphere in restaurant. Many regulars. Nice location in Tremadog.

What a fabulous venue. The food, the service and ambience was first class. It’s been a long, long time since I enjoyed such value for money - will be back very soon.

I could say, it’s all been said, but I’ll say it anyway: A very friendly restaurant, beautifully cooked food - I had duck and my husband lamb, with apple tart and crème brûlée to follow. The best evening. Thank you Y Sgwar! We will certainly return when next in the area.

Throughly enjoyable evening in a great atmosphere with friendly efficient service and excellent food. The lounge area and restaurant both have a lovely relaxed ambiance even when busy.

Went for lunch with vegan friend and it was lovely - big bowl of salad and gorgeous hummus and meatless meatloaf - lush and reasonably priced. Staff are lovely - deffo recommend

Very tasty meal, beautiful building and lovely staff.

We were greeted by friendly faces with a pleasant demeanour to a well appointed restaurant with lots of ambience and atmosphere, on a busy Friday evening. We were attended to very efficiently with lovely seafood dishes, which were, although not abundant in volume, were delicious. After having beautifully put together and tasty desserts, we were well satisfied. A lovely meal and evening.

Fabulous isn't enough. A very impressive menu and it definitely delivered. Lots of delicious vegan and vegetarian options (we recommend the 'duck' starter!) Incredible. Staff were very friendly and personable made you feel very welcome. Nothing was to much to ask. If we visit this part of Wales again we will most definitely be back and recommend to anyone coming to the area. 5 STARS

Excellent on all accounts. Service was friendly & professional. Food was superb & both our lamb & duck dishes were cooked as per request, pink. Most varied menu. Sadly we don't reside locally as we'd come back more often.

Searched for a restaurant and liked the reviews for this one. Wasn't disappointed! Welcomed an seated quickly. Attentive waiting staff. We would come again should we be up.this way again! Food was superb, my friends steak almost melted in her mouth, my other friend and I had the lamb, again, cooked perfectly! Desserts were divine ✨️

We were met by Meghan who was a delightful hostess. Explained the menus etc. got my wife and I drinks and we ordered our starters and main courses. The meals were excellent in quality. Meghan was wonderful. A great lunch. Truly recommend lunch at HOLT LODGE HOTEL.

Great breakfast, as always. It's hard to beat those blackcurrant and pistachio pancakes! Good to be able to book online.
