Great food and great service
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilNew find due to regular place being closed and what a find, little gem tucked away in Martock business park. Fantastic food, all local and no rubbish. Pay for quality and will definitely be returning
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilOn Wednesday, I had lunch with my friends at an atmospheric cafe. The staff were very friendly. Especially pleasant and attentive service from Irina, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant. We ordered several dishes and they were incredibly delicious — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with good food and great company.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilLovely food and atmosphere and not rushed which was great as we were a party of four having a catch up. Will certainly visit again and recommend.
Perdida at Ferne Animal Sanctuary – YeovilFabulous food, location and staff.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilSadly the arrival greeting we received did not match the standard of the food at all . Disappointing as on reserving I mentioned my daughter’s birthday and first visit to eat here and no mention at all of it. We felt as if we were an inconvenience to be honest and the restaurant wasn’t even full and we were there at 12.15. Very sad as we like the venue and the food but the waiting staff need training in welcoming which is so important at the arrival as it is part of the whole experience .
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAll the friends I brought here were delighted. With the exceptional quality of the food and the inviting ambiance, this is exactly the type of place we want to see more of in Somerset. I truly hope this restaurant will offer dinner options in the future and expand with additional locations.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAnother enjoyable meal at Perdida. The Malaysian Poke bowl was delicious as were the quiche, falafel and mezze. Everyone was impressed with the quality if the food.

Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilI have visited The Olive many times but always lunch time this was a brunch visit. Busy as always good sign however I really do think you need more staff the two poor girls were struggling to cope I don’t mind waiting a certain amount of time as I know the food is cooked from scratch but the waiting time was unexceptionable and a disappointment I think I will stick to lunch visits.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilAs a treat for my wife on her birthday I took her sister and a friend to have an afternoon tea, we all enjoyed the tea and the way it was served to us was very nice and we enjoyed the food I would recommend this to anyone who wanted something different from the normal plated meal
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilReally lovely brunch, thoroughly enjoyed the food and setting. Thank you
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely food, friendly staff, room to park and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this venue for lunch and more.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilGreat atmosphere in a busy environment. Our first offering was poorly cooked but the Manager did a marvellous job of redeeming the Olive Kitchen's reputation. We were offered Halloumi fries (delicious!) whilst we waited for replacement dishes, which were excellent. A repeat visit is definitely called for.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilExcellent tasty food, well presented, very quick service with a smile
Perdida at Ferne Animal Sanctuary – YeovilAfter my Baby Grandson arriving prematurely we had to cancel our original Baby shower Booking in February 2026. We did a meet and greet with him instead on the 9th May at the Union Street Brassiere, Yeovil. We were made to feel so welcomed nothing was too much trouble and we were allowed to decorate the area as we wished. The staff were very attentive supplying drinks to our guests and even taking photos for us. As always the cream teas were delicious and our younger guests could have the options of cooked meals. All the guests are still talking about this very special party and I can not thank the team enough for what you have done. Special thanks must go to Ashley, Graham and Jordy and the Team who went above and beyond to make our Meet and Greet so special and such a memorable experience. Thank you so much Kerry
