Booked a meal on Monday. 4th October. The reservation was for Saturday 9th October. I received a reminder email on Friday 8th October. We came to the restaurant on Saturday to find it closed!!! No telephone call or email to say the restaurant was shut. Spent the next hour trying numerous fully booked restaurants, trying to find availability. This totally spoilt our evening. I was totally embarrassed in front of friends as I had made the booking, To then get an email on Sunday 10th October asking if I’d enjoyed my meal and would I like to leave a review! !! Appalled is not the word!

The meal was absolutely delicious, no faults whatsoever, however, I do have a problem with adding the service charge. I realise you don't have to pay it but it's the customer choice to leave a tip and we don't need prompting.

Food was full of flavour & everyone in my party enjoyed their starter & main course. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere with background music that didn’t interfere. Everyone is looking forward to returning.

Myself and my wife were frequent visitors to the original restaurant in Reddish and this was our first visit to the new one in New Mills. We're both over the moon that they managed to establish a new restaurant following their troubles because, and this has added significance because my wife is a Sicilian herself, their food, their atmosphere and their service are as close to genuine Italian/Sicilian you can get in the UK. The food is always of the upmost genuine quality, the options available are second to none and the service is extremely welcoming and attentive. 100% worth every penny - probably worth more in all honesty. We're both so happy you have found your new home and despite the long drive to come and visit we will be back again and again.

Great food and service and good value for money. The only thing that slightly let them down was the colouring pencils and book for my grandson to draw was old and tatty need to replace with better ones please

First time as was in manchester for the night was lovely food.. great service and fab atmosphere plus we got there half hour early as didn't know how far from our hotel it was but got us a table as soon as one was free thanks guys

Great atmosphere for a cold Tuesday in October. Lots of full tables and staff buzzing around. Service very polite and friendly. Food was excellent, a mixture of bruschettas and other bits to start. Over the 5 guests, 2 pasta dishes, 1 mixed grill, 1 Octopus dish and a veal chop. All excellent. Followed by 2 Affogato, 1 ice cream, 1 Tiramisu and a hilarious Brioche bun filled with 3 ice creams! Highly recommend A Tavola. Would definitely revisit. Well done

We had a lovely evening at Crowded house on Saturday, the food, wine, cocktails, service and atmosphere were just perfect. I would highly recommend dining here and we will be returning again soon.

Excellent service and great atmosphere

Cocktails here are amazing! Loved the mains but the portions were a little too small for me, also the price should include at least one side. All in all - flavourful and nice!

Throughly enjoyable visit. Food five star quality and great value for money. Cocktails different, the Coconut and Chilli Mojito especially but could have made a night just sampling each on the menu! Staff welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be back.
