Scott Lloyd (Pop/Rock) from 1pm
Scott Lloyd plays and sings acoustic versions of a variety of songs from all decades. He puts a relaxed, easy listening spin on to many popular and well known hits from artists such as Rod Stewart, Fleetwood Mac, David Gray and Van Morrison, to name a few.
The festival kitchen will be located inside the gothic splendour of Rochdale town hall along with plenty of stalls and activities. There’ll be an outside food and drink village, an indoor seating area to watch chef demonstrations on a big screen, themed foodie workshops plus live music and activities – with lots to offer from nearby local pubs, bars and restaurants.
Television presenter Chris Bavin will be hosting the day, with Rochdale’s Andrew Nutter, Tom McNeeney, Austin Hopley and Adolfus Lewis among the local chefs cooking at the festival next spring. ‘Gastronaut’ Stefan Gates will be performing his energetic food and science shows on the family stage, with more guests to be announced.

The Yorkshire Post and The Scarborough News are combining forces yet again to create Scarborough’s very own Food and Drink Festival!
From artisan food specialists exhibiting delicious produce, to traditional real ales and gins to some of Yorkshire’s finest restaurants serving their signature dishes.
A 3 day event of live cookery demonstrations from top chefs, local musical entertainment throughout the day, and of course phenomenal food and drink from local and regional vendors!
Our demonstration kitchen will be hosted by top chef Stephanie Moon who will be showcasing the very best of Yorkshire produce by top restaurateurs and connoisseurs.
We will also be hosting a children’s fair with and entertainment and face painters to keep the kids happy, making this a fantastic family day out!
So If you’re passionate about food & drink there will definitely be something here for you to tickle your taste buds and stimulate the senses!
Our cookery demonstrations at our new venue 7B are becoming very popular, and with limited spaces, they are selling out quicker than we expected. So, we have already started planning for 2020!
