About Pissarro’s

Named after the French impressionist artist who lived briefly in Hastings, Pissarro’s is housed in an iconic building that first opened its doors in 1864. It combines the best of restaurant, pub and wine bar and is open for lunch and dinner. The menu draws its influences from around the world and their great-value lunch menu starts from just £6 and includes a free drink. You can dine in either the restaurant or bar and the food is complemented by a great selection of beers and wines. Pissarro’s also has regular live music nights featuring local bands and their event catering arm can cater for all kinds of private corporate events.

Booked spur of the moment, food was excellent, oriental mushroom starter was delicious, my husband’s cod was very good with stir fried veg and steamed. Best red velvet cheesecake ever! The young lady that served us had excellent customer service skills, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend, this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Party of six old workmates had lunch in Pissarro's yesterday. It's a lovely relaxed meeting place and we go quite often. Staff are really friendly and attentive, the food is very good. Soup of the day was excellent. It's also great value for money. No complaints from us.
