Dragon Pearl – FromeNice food. But the staff are very rude, arogant and miserable! Far too quick to take your plates way. Made you feel uncomfortable. Shown where on the ATM to agree to a tip. You got to be joking! Sorry it's the last time we will visit.
Oriental Buffet – KingswoodZest is a easy to reach restaurant, which gives you a taste of many choices of mediterranean food to try. Cooked to a high standard and always well presented on the plate not to mention delicious. Really good value for money a fantastic place for group evenings out as well as a cosy romantic dinner for two. Definite place to visit
Zest Cafe Lounge Bar – Bristol City CentreTwo of us enjoyed a fantastic meal in this sparkly contemporary restaurant, this place serves the posh food you see on tv but never get to eat. The staff are smiling, attentive, happy and know all about the food on the menu. We had Starter: Scallops, mmmm. Pate; Delicious. Mains: Steak, wow this place could do a Blk&bleu perfectly, tasty, juicy, tender. Stuffed Rabbit loin, sweet and delicate and amazing. The food was so professionally and prettily presented, it was perfect portion control, allowing you to have a 3 course dinner without feeling hungry or stuffed to bursting point! Wonderful. We decided to go back every week until we've exhausted the menu!
Riverstation – Bristol City CentreAn Indian restaurant that is several cuts above the average. The prawn puri's are the best I have ever been served. They feature a some dishes different to the standard curry house fare including some delicious rabbit dishes and several melingly tender lamb dishes.
Viceroy – YeovilExcellent Indian cuisine. On visits from our home in France, first night always at Posh Spice. Staff and service first class. Good staff and service.
Posh Spice – NailseaShocking, if you want a portion of food poisoning delivered to your door then this is the place to go!
The Curry House – Bristol City CentreI live in Weston and always travel weekly to the best carvery in Somerset. The meats are always tender and as much veg as you can eat.Service excellent as well, always friendly.Very good value for money. Highly recommended.
Brent House – Weston Super MareI was unfortunate enough too eat here on Friday. We duly arrived on time and were told too wait at the bar, no complimentary drinks, we complained several times and were eventually seated over 25 mins late. When the starters came out, they were very disappointing. One was covered in olive oil and the other was saturated in fat!!! We duly complained, the manager became very aggressive to a female in the party and it was only when we pointed out the timescale he relented. The mains did arrive and were satisfactory at best, that is being generous. When we came to pay, nothing had been deducted from the bill and they even charged for service!!! I have spoken to several people and this appears to be a common complaint. I will not be going back for a long time and have ensured that anyone I know who uses it regularly is enlightened.
San Carlo – Bristol City CentreThe moment you pass through the small archway by the takeaway area, you are immediately transported to a small village taverna in Cyprus. The owner Mr George Ioannou (with his big friendly grin) and his wife Flora, welcome you to your table, whilst in the background Greek music softly plays though the many speakers around the walls. The food is typically Greek Cypriot and is made entirely by the owners, George and Flora. The doner-kebab (which is one of my favourites) is available, takeaway and on the restaurant menu, It tastes like it was made by Aphodite herself). If you enjoy lamb and lots of it, then the kleftiko is highly recommended as is the Bagadakia (lamb chops) and dont forget the meze! It is one of the best you will ever have in your life. The atmosphere is always very friendly and if you come here enough times you will see lots of familiar faces as the customers tend to come back time and time again. There is never a rushed atmosphere here, George will never try to push you out, in fact once you have become a friend of his, he is more likely to say to you "What's you hurry?" But dont take my word for it, try it for yourself, you wont regret it, I promise!
Kebab House The – Bristol City CentreI would recommend The Living Room just for the cocktails (which were great) but the food was excellent as well ! So good to be able to go out and have a steak cooked properly! The atmosphere was chilled out but service was still sharp. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would go back.
The Living Room – Bristol City CentreFantastic food of late, can't stop eating there. Service is fantastic and they throw in lots of freebies if your lucky! Like me! It must be my good looks, just give them a twinkle of your eye! Very conciseness about health and safety to their customers and treat you with respect. love the guys there, not a bad word to be said! Also Tuesdays and Thursdays they have a special four course deal for 8.95 per person. ***** Recommendation for all you curry lovers!
Bengal Raj – Weston Super Marethis was our second visit to the restaurant . we were not disappointed.we dined on a Saturday night the restaurant was full . the steak was cooked to perfection and the fish was also excellent and presented well . the sweet was good although not stunning . it was good to see an excellent range of top quality wines by the glass available, also, for those whom prefer quantity over quality the house wines were decently priced . this restaurant has excellent staff and deserves regular patronage
Raphael – BathIt has to be the best local pub/restaurant in Weston, superb views in the beer garden, excellent local ales, very accommodating/friendly staff (I'm always happy to tip well) and the food is second to none from Friday night steaks to Sunday roasts, never been disappointed yet. However I would recommend you book as it can get very busy on the weekends.
The Windsor Castle – Weston Super MareI went to Casamia a few weeks ago, before it got its Michelin star (which is very well deserved) and would be pleased to recommend it to anyone thinking of going. The bar and restaurant staff are friendly making the service excellent. My boyfriend and I were amazed at the food, the presentation was perfect and the flavours were out of this world, far exceeding our expectations. This restaurant is one of the best known secrets I have!
Casamia – Westbury-on-TrymTook friends to this Restaurant, Was very pleased with the meal & service, We were taken though the menu by a well informed waiter making sure we got the best value from our visit.
Oriental Buffet – KingswoodWe ate at Ocean in January 09 and had a great meal. The standard of food is as good as some of the more well known and more expensive restaurants in Bristol but with a more intimate and friendly atmosphere. I would recommend and will be returning soon.
Ocean Cafe – Cliftonway better then san carlos. food is outstanding .. a must!!!!!
