Old Mill Hotel – BathWe arrived at The Pelly on a cold Spring day and were met by friendly staff and a blazing log fire. The pub has been refurbished to a very high standard and the food and service was excellent as well as being reasonably priced.
Pelly Chew Magna – BlagdonWaste of time eating here if you have a large party,we waited over an hour between courses.They then had a cheek to charge £80 for service.Set meal £17.50ish each didn't get value for money. Food very poor.

Restaurant at The Swan Hotel – AlmondsburyRiverstation is amazing! The food is incredibly consistent and always excellent.. The set price menus are really good value £9.00 for 2 courses at lunch and £14.75 for 3-courses at dinner. They also have a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour making it the best possible place to eat in Bristol on a fine day. Highly recommended!
Riverstation – Bristol City CentreExcellent presentation of wonderfully cooked fresh food in a charming, intimate yet unpretentious atmosphere. A brief but varied menu offers something for all palates and the wine list provides a fine complement to the food. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed dining out so well. Unusually, I took three courses and enjoyed every delicious mouthful. Meats, fish and vegetables cooked to perfection, aromatic sauces and tempting, delicious desserts - you are certain to be delighted.
Franks Restaurant – CheddarThis place was recommended to me recently so I took my girlfriend there and had a wonderful meal on the way back from bath after a days shopping, My first authentic Thai restaurant and was blown away by the flavours. They will even customise spice levels on dishes so if your like me and not great with really hot food you can still try everything. The home made Ice cream is just the best, I had their latest flavour pina colada Mmmmm.
Thai Cafe – KeynshamTried Hussains recently and was impressed. From the well presented staff to the attention to details with the dishes. Both myself and my Wife agreed that we had some of the best Indian dishes we had tasted. Quite a few variations and different dishes to other local restaurants. Worth a visit in my humble opinion.

Nando’s – BathI would highly recommend a meal at Eastern Spice. The staff our friendly and the service is quick and the food is fantastic. An affordable, enjoyable night out!

Bertinet Kitchen, The – BathI would strongly recommend that you do not bother! I went to the Pink Leaf on Saturday 30th January 2010 as part of a birthday party. The table (for16) was booked for 8.30pm. We were not shown to our table until 9.35. The table we were shown to was not made up, had plates and napkins (seemingly from the group before) still on it and did not have enough chairs around it for the entire group. We were given a round of drinks to compensate us for our wait, but when the barmaid was instructed to serve us, her response was "for f*cks sake". She then proceeded to put the ice and lemon into the drinks with her hands. When we complained about this and she was made to re pour the drinks, she used tongs for the lemon, but not the ice. She also slammed the drinks down on the bar without telling us what any of them were. Our order was taken while we were waiting at the bar, so that the food would be ready when we reached the table. The food was, in fact, not brought out to us until 10.15 and one person had to wait over 10minutes after receiving her curry before she got the rice to go with it because they had forgotten it. The food may have been quite nice, but most of it went to waste because by this point it was too late to eat much and we had all lost our appetites because of anger and frustration at our treatment. Overall, this rates as singularly the worst dining experience of my life and I would not go back to the Pink Leaf if you paid me.
Uddins – Weston Super Marewent to the restaurant last week with friends. We didn't realize that they change their name to Thai Basil under new management. The food is superb, much better than before with more variety. We ordered duck with tamarind sauce which is the best !!! Highly recommend.
