Lovely meal. Scallops were beautiful. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

I had pate for my starter, the oat cakes were brick hard, when I said to member of staff I was offered soda bread instead. Maybe give customers the choice. My husband had haggis balls, he said they were lovely just wasn’t enough. 2 haggis balls. Our table was cleared and we were not asked if we wanted a desert, we asked for the bill and we waited 35 mins and had to ask another member of staff again for the bill.

I went here yesterday 26th January to be told by a member of staff to sit there didn’t get any menus had to ask for them the same lady only to be told aye am getting them, she then threw the menus on the table and said leek and potato soup she had that much of an attitude we walked out so that was 3 people in my party disgusted in the service.

Lovely mid week dinner with my friends, staff very friendly and food was delicious. Service was excellent

Was here on Saturday with friend for lunch and drink and cocktails Food was lovely. A member of staff stuck out and I wish we’d got her name, a lady with say Purple/maroon dark hair ? She finished at 8pm on the Saturday night, she was rushed off her feet, never stopped, but was still polite and smiling, very nice lady.

A couple of things I would like to mention : Items on (Menu) board not available (These should be removed as they become unavailable to stop disappointment) The early lunch 12 - 3 p.m. is not available on Sundays - this should be added to your printed menu to stop embarrassment when asking for it. We had a lovely afternoon but since I got this request to review I thought I would mention the above

One of our favourite restaurants/bar in Musselburgh. Food always really good whether in the main restaurant or bar area. Fish n chips and mac and cheese our fav's :-) but lots of tasty varieties on the menu. Staff lovely and helpful. Highly recommend.

We were at the ravelston for tea on Thursday half price. We had fish and chips which for very nice and enjoyable. But the menu has been changed and it’s not very enjoyable no steak pie no scampi and no enchiladas. U have taken the best items of the menu . And also the starts isn’t a good selection.

Lovely meal. The staff were all amazing and friendly. I had king prawns in garlic butter and then the Philly steak baguette, my other half had chicken wings with bang bang sauce and then had a cheese burger was really tasty.

2nd visit to Steak and Cherry and we were not disappointed! Food is tasty / huge portions/ great menu I go for the steak and each time it’s been delicious. Staff are friendly and very attentive The restaurant is lovely inside, whether it’s for a casual date or celebration meal it’s lovely We are already planning our 3rd visit

Meal was excellent but bar area was very noisy

Had a lovely lunch in the bar. It was our puppies first time in a pub and she was very welcome, got a dog cookie and water without asking. Lovely food and staff looking forward to going back soon.

Me and wife went here and the food was amazing the steak was perfect the service was great to highly recommend everyone to go we will definitely be back

We had a table booked for a Saturday night and when we got there the restaurant was booked out for a 60th birthday party so we were expected to sit and eat in the noisy bar, which we didn’t bother doing and went elsewhere. I think a wee e-mail or phone call would have been nice

Had a fantastic time on Saturday for a birthday meal in the bar area which we had requested. The service was exceptional and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and drinks which were very reasonably priced. The singer was great too. Thank you again for a great night

All my guests had a lovely time 30 Dec 2021. Service was good, staff very helpful and the meals we had were excellent - piping hot. Just excellent.
