Had a fantastic meal for 4. The starters were great but it was the Porter House steaks that were the star of show. Omg meat that melts in your mouth. Staff were great as well, really friendly and nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to returning.

I have marked down slightly for Atmosphere, but that's only because of the lads on a Xmas night out. They weren't drunk or offensive just a wee bit loud. Already looking forward to our next meal here.

The chef/owner is an artist whose flavor palette is sublime. The staff are excellent, the ambience is of understated elegance, and the prices are low for the quality of the meals.

Food was okay tastewise but quite expensive for what it was - starter of haggis bonbons, received 2 small haggis balls & 1 small cube potato with a little sauce for around £6.75 Steak pie wasn't really pie, stew with very thin slice of pastry, vegetables were very oily, this was over £13. I did send this information to the contact details online for attention of the manager but didn't get a reply.
