Not one of the previous reviewers i would guess have ever tasted authentic Mexican food , this is your bog standard old el paso mexican food bland and boring! nicely decorated place with an okay atmosphere but Mexican food it is not!

The Bonnybank Inn – Fife

Visited Mi Amore for the first time on Saturday for lunch. It was exceptionally good value for money at £6.95 for 2 courses and there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Very friendly staff. The evening menu looks good too.

This is surely a beacon of hope for foodies within the current Edinburgh restaurant scene. The food, service and ambience are all consistently first class. As a keen cook and culinary disaffected citizen it is the only Edinburgh restaurant worth a visit .

We have eaten and ordered from the neelim every week for 12 years but will never ever do so again! We had to throw our food in the bin from our take away the last time as it was off. When we called to complain the girl said next order would be discounted. When we called out the next week the manager was obnoxious and rude and instead of apologising he insinuated we had lied and said it was up to us if we wanted to take our business elsewhere! Wouldn't like to add up how much we spent as loyal customers over the years but will never set foot in it again and now use ashoka.

great food lovely staff restaurant very nice

Harrington’s Tea Room – Motherwell

Lovely authentic Indian food with an excellent choice...Large Nan breads and excellent value for money. As this is an unlicensed restaurant you can take as much of your own alcohol as with last your company's visit. Nice staff, polite and courteous. I am a regular now. Highly recommended.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING TAKEAWAY, RUDE STAFF AND VULGAR FOOD, FOUND HAIRS IN OUR CHIPS AND MY PARTNERS CHICKEN WAS NOT FRESH AND NOT COOKED PROPERLY, MY SAUSAGES WERE FULL OF GRISTLE AND I WAS VERY ILL THE NEXT DAY. WENT BACK WITH FOOD AND STAFF WERE VERY RUDE TO US!

We ate here quite a few times during our holiday last summer. We tried the "posh" chippy, but found this one infinitely preferable, and the haddock and chips were to die for.

The Waterfront Chip Shop – Fife

A group of 9 lunched at The Kitchin - the eldest in their 70's and the youngest 9. We all thoroughly enjoyed the gastronomic experience. Staff were brilliant and attentive and the food was devine. We were not hurried despite being the last to arrive. Our 9 year old budding restaurant critic now aspires to visit The Kitchin on a regular basis and recommends it to everyone - as do we. Thanks Tom and staff for making it a very enjoyable experience for us all.

Really enjoyed our meal in this newly opened restaurant.Warm welcome from the staff and owner. Food on menu was of traditional Scottish flavours, very reasonably priced and of a high standard. So was the service from Claire Starter and main course were ample helpings but the home made jam roll with custard and fresh raspberries was delicious and finished of a very enjoyable meal. We strongly recommend a visit to anyone wanting a quality meal in pleasant surroundings. John and Elaine

Black Sheep Bistro – Glasgow

Myself, friends and family have been here many times since it 1st opened last year & I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal! The owner is just fantastic, so welcoming! We quite often take our 2 children at lunch time and they are so accommodating & at £6.95 for a 2 course meal you can't go wrong! The only complaint I have is that now it has such a great reputation, we can't get a table as easily any more!! Fantastic food, wonderful service, can't rate it highly enough!
