I ordered from Herbies Pizza over a year ago and all I can say is what a mistake. Since then, I have received countless text messages from 7 different phone numbers all telling me of 'great offers' from Herbies Andover. At the end of each message you are told 'Txstop2nd'. No matter how many times you text stop to which ever number they message you from, you still get inundated with marketing text messages! My advice to anyone thinking of ringing Herbies Andover is don't do it, unless you don't mind putting up with constant marketing messages which you can do very little to stop. Try Papa Johns instead. The pizza there is 10x better!

Absolutely superb dinner. The Great British Menu winning chef, James Durrant and all his team leave you with a massive smile on your face. Very reasonable prices and a great menu with wonderful surroundings.

Th pub was very very cold, kept on asking for the heating to be put on. Food came out hot but got cold quickly as the pub was cold. Atmosphere not nice as the pub was cold. I was with family, we spent a fair bit, but the pub was not very welcoming .Would not go back

The chefs ego far outways his ability to cook food.Ordered the seabass in lime & coconut sauce. So bitter I could not distinguish fish from sauce. On complaining,we were met with hostility & derision. Avoid at all costs.

What a great “local” pub! I visited it last night, after some time. A new manager arrived a couple of months ago & what a turn around! It’s very clean, the staff are friendly and efficient, the beer and the food is good and the prices are about what you would expect nowadays. There is a very large child friendly garden and good sized car park. They have pool teams and are starting a poker night. They also have special Curry Nights. Well worth a visit!!!

Must have changed hands. Not as good as it was on our previous visit some months ago. Crab Pate on toast looked like and tasted like Shiphams Paste, a 10oz Rib Eye that was about 6mm thick, deep fried fish fillet of very thin proportions and lots of bones with greasy chips. A return to the use of a single towel in the toilet that was screwed up and wet. Sorry will not be back.

Hmm, the worst meal of my life. Being a vegetarian I am used to accepting 3rd rate stuff but this place took the biscuit. I went on a Sunday with my family and asked for the advertised vegetarian Sunday main course option, expecting a nut-roast or pasta something. No, I got one Yorkshire pudding, peas, carrots and grayc, which took about two minutes to eat. Basically, this was just the stuff that the meat eaters got but without the meat. Thoughtlessly and borishly they had thought, 'ah let's do a vege option - just charge them the same price and give them the vegetables without a main course'! Brilliant. Absolutely pathetic. Also, the place was awash with screaming children running about, there is a climbing frame in the corner of the 'restaurant' from which ear-piercing screams come now and again. Don't bother with this place, just go to McDonalds.
