Had heard good things about Green Olive, and was interested to try it for myself. We’d booked a table for a birthday lunch and was very impressed with the food on offer and the service. Staff were very attentive, warm and welcoming. Immediately they were aware of new patrons, acknowledging them and offering realistic wait times and directing them to the sitting area for waiting. The menu was varied and offered a good selection of choices. The wait times were very reasonable, and we didn’t see any table waiting too long regardless how busy it was. The food was served beautifully and was very tasty. Everyone in our party was very impressed. Value was very reasonable especially when compared to franchises offering just shipped in ready to go meals. Would highly recommend, and will definitely visit again. Pleasant atmosphere, feels cosy and welcoming, with soft background music.

First time at Green Olive and everything was spot on! Friendly staff, great service, insane pancakes, tasty coffee, nice chilled atmosphere. Couldn’t fault anything. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you

Not only vegan but delicious and thoughtful food prepared with care. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Great little cafe for anyone not just vegans!

We love supporting little vegan businesses and the Green Olive is well worth a visit. The full breakfast is to die for, the flavours were wonderful. Been vegan for over 3 year's and can honestly say it was the best breakfast we have had. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be visiting next time we are within a 20 mile radius :-)

Beautifully crafted flavours and textures brought together creatively . A great lunch in lovely surroundings with superb team of staff who love what they do.

My son is at Bangor Uni and I stumbled across the Gazelle by chance. What a lovely place, atmosphere, staff, Manager, and food all first class. So friendly and welcoming. Been a few times yet to find a fault with their food. Would definitely recommend although I dont want too many people to learn about it lol!!

Visited the Gazelle hotel, with my mother and wife, we had lunch, and our order was was a good choice, we all enjoyed the food.

Lovely atmosphere and very well decorated inside and out. Not much choice for a vegetarian (only 2 options) the meal I chose was an incredibly spicy curry to the point I could not actually eat it. However the other people I were with thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we will definitely be returning

Staying at the Gazelle for 5 nights after lockdown, we booked a table in the restaurant for our first night, so glad we did, the food was absolutely delicious served fresh and hot with an excellent choice available. The staff and the views make the whole experience very enjoyable in these difficult times, we could not fault anything. In fact we enjoyed the first meal so much we booked the second evening also and we certainly didn’t regret it, once again both of our starters and mains were delicious. A special mention and thanks to the chef and the staff for making our evening so enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant

We have visited The Gazelle twice. Once for an evening meal and overnight stay just before Christmas and last weekend for a family lunchtime meal to celebrate 3 birthdays. On both occasions the food, service, atmosphere and surroundings were lovely. We enjoyed the view and thought the prices were very reasonable. Will return as everyone in our party enjoyed it.

We are at the Gazelle last Monday and had a nice meal - steak and ale pie in my case and risotto for my wife. Portions were generous and the good tasty. Aldwyn, the landlord, was very sociable and we had an interesting conversation about Anglesey relatives. Sadly there were just a few customers (bad weather was no doubt a factor) very unlike previous visits when it has been very busy.

Saturday night in the middle of storm Denis is not the best time to try a venue new to us. When other nearby restaurants were fully booked we were surprised to be the only ones dining here at 7.30 pm. However we enjoyed our meal and service was very friendly if slightly inexperienced. Shared a very tasty portion of spicy calamari as a starter but unfortunately were not provided with separate plates. Mains were a Steak & Ale pie for myself and an interesting chicken with black pudding crocquettes for my partner. Both were delicious and served hot on heated plates. House wine was a little disappointing though inexpensive. Would be happy to return if next in the area.
