Lovely restaurant! Last Tuesday I went with my colleagues from work to eat at San Remo. It was very crowded but nothing affected the food quality and the service. The manager was on his own but did very well, we were served on time and he made time to make a joke with us. The food was very good and we couldn't believe it wasn't pricey. The early bird menu is awesome! We'll be back for sure!

Red Lounge – AudenshawWe've been 4 or 5 times now. The first few times the food was amazing, the price was great for the size of the portions. However, the very last time we went (end of January) the service was poor, even though it was not busy, the food portions had shrunk and only the cold tap worked in the toilets.

Red Lounge – AudenshawOn Thursday, my husband and I celebrated 20 years of marriage. What a wonderful place for such an occasion. Great atmosphere (lovely Christmas decorations , candle on the table, nice music), wonderful food, attentive service and the bill was not expensive at all. We received a liquor on the house as well. We'll be back soon, even if there is not any special occasion.

Red Lounge – AudenshawWell, what can one say. On Thursday, 8 of us went to celebrate my 40th Yikes! After being told there were no pizza's left (what! no pizza in an Italian restaurant, look at it this way the food must be fresh), we ordered alternatives which turned out to be really tasty. We all ordered starters, main, deserts and of course drinks including 9 paints of larger! The bill came to £142.30 which for the quality of the food we thought was good. The waiters had smiles on their faces something which was nice to see for a change, and I got a candle stuck in my tiramasu with the birthday song for good measure. On the down side, the pace of the service was poor, or you could say 'chilled out' typically Italian. We arrived at 7 and left at 10pm. You had to grab their attention if you wanted a drink. It was also quite noisy and warm. In summary, If you want a reasonably priced, fresh, good quality meal served with a smile; in a noisy, warm room (so wear a smart t-shirt or short sleeves) then San Remo's is the place for you. We will go back again, the food makes it worth while, just hope they have pizza.

My husband and I visited San Remo last Sunday and I must say it's "real" Italian restaurant offering a wonderful selection of fine traditional dishes and meats. We had been searching for a decent restaurant that doesn't cost the earth and San Remo delivers. My only complaint will be that the service wasn't very attentive.Waiter had no knowledge on what they're selling and there's a lack of motivation as well.No one ever came to ask if everything was OK.Maybe they just had a hard week. Will go back again anyway, it's a lovely restaurant.

Red Lounge – Audenshawwent to the Orange Tree last weekend based on reviews we'd seen and the place lived up to it's reputation The place is small and friendly and the food amazing ... wonderful choice of steaks, fish dishes if you want to opt for a main meal but we opted for the Tapas menu (you can go anywhere and have a steak) and accompanied it with the most wonderful bottle of Rioja Crianze The desserts are just as nice and the whole meal was perfect and very very reasonably priced .... will certainly be going back again

We have taken lots of our friends there, including two from Germany, who don't have the chance to try this type of cuisine at home. Even my 90 year old father likes his Sunday visits .
Indian Plaza Restaurant, Bar and Takeaway – AudenshawI've been 3 times & enjoyed each time - service from Claire has been great. Lots of dishes to choose from at a very good price. The Pollo En Pimleto (chicken, paprika and cream) has become a favourite. The house wines are good & compliments the food. Their lunch time menu is great, especially if you're on a budget & they have special deals on Tues & Weds tea time. Night time + weekends gets very busy so booking is a must.

I have not enjoyed an Italian meal so much for a very long time -we received a warm and genuine welcome and the food was out of this world! Even the side vegetables that came with our superb steaks were perfection. Staff are helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I can't believe we have not frequented this lovely restaurant before.
San Remo – AudenshawWent with a b'day party and were made to feel very welcome. Food was lovely and atmosphere good. Quite an intimate restaurant and the booking of your table in the evening is highly recommended as it fills up quickly.
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawI went to Orange Tree Tapas for lunch on Saturday, I booked for 10 of us and we were made very welcome. The food was all freshly cooked and very tasty. The service from Claire was great. Lots of dishes to choose from at a very reasonable price. The house wines were also good, They have a nice lunchtime menu and some tapas specials on Tuesday and Wednesday tea time. I will be going back very soon.
