We had a 2 course meal yesterday. Me and a friend after a wonderful spa day at the beau monde. Service was fantastic. The food can only be described as delicious and a nice pub vibe. We both had the steak and Guinness pie. The steak was tender and we could taste the Guinness. Spot on!!! Will come again

Very welcoming, main course excellent, unfortunately service after that pretty poor. Requested dessert menu waited for ages, requested it again, finally received menu then waited ages again to order, eventually gave up as no staff visible. Paid for main courses and left rather disappointed.

What a fantastic place! The atmosphere was very welcoming and the decor gave a relaxed and trendy feel to the place. The food was excellent, with vegan options! Service was fantastic, with Lyndsey being an absolute gem. We will definitely be back here when we return to the area!

Went for Sunday roast yesterday. We were a group of 6 adults and my grandson who has severe autism and is 6 years old. The meal was absolutely gorgeous and we will definitely be back again when we stay in the area. Lovely staff, all were really friendly and helpful. If I can mention Lyndsey who really helped us so that we were able to sit and enjoy our meal as a family. She went above and beyond for us. We had asked for a quiet area with low lighting as this effects my grandson’s autism. We were sat in a perfect place and even the music was turned down.

Lovely place, great food and 1st class hospitality! Even our dogs were made to feel very welcome which makes for a more enjoyable experience.

Lovely friendly staff and fabulous food. The breakfast is always super tasty - the best place we've found so far in Northumberland.

We booked for New Year’s Day lunch, 6 adults and one dog. Preordered food few days before which was fine at this time of year. Food and table service were excellent. Bar service not as good but that could have been down to new staff. All in all lovely meal and we would go back.

Had heard mixed reviews but our experience was very positive. Very good pub grub, fab chips, amongst our group we had excellent gammon, fish pie and fish and chips. We also had a warm welcome and good service. Would definitely go again when next in the area.

Had a lovely meal here last night, 28th December, and breakfast this morning after staying nearby for a few days. The food was lovely, and I was looking forward to the proper chips advertised, but unfortunately, they had been substituted for frozen ones. Service was a little slow but was busy. Staff were lovely, though, and being dog friendly was a great bonus. I would definitely go back.

This is the third time my husband, dogs and myself have been here. Food is outstanding and great value for money. The staff are so helpful and the dogs found it very peaceful. We will return

Waiter was brilliant. He's was so kind and attentive. He deserves a wage rise. Food luke warm bordering on cold. Both courses and it seemed the staff jnew rhis may be an issue. My giant Yorkshire Pudding had no middle, just the ring, more a Yorkshire ring! The chef said he couldn't understand how that happened. Sorry Apple, we won't be back. It was also overpriced. You should visit the Beadnell Towers to see how to do it above and beyond!

One of the best meals we’ve ever had - fantastic food, fantastic location and fantastic staff

First time visit- won’t be our last! Great choice of quality served in lovely surroundings by first class staff.
