Asked to pre-book our meals for all three courses the day before and when we arrived they had lost our order. No worries. Starters and main meals were tasty and well presented. No Yorkshire pudding with your beef - this Yorkshire man was aghast! Paid the pound for a Yorkshire pudding for each member of our group. Had to wait 15 minutes to order dessert. 15 minutes later tea and coffee arrived but no pud. Reminded them of our order. Finished tea and coffee and still no dessert. Asked again and said it would come soon. 15 minutes later desserts arrived. Tasty they were but by this time we were ready for off. Pub not busy. £220 for five of us so not a cheap Sunday dinner. Captive audience with chalets and holiday apartments nearby but would think twice about returning when there are other nice village pubs nearby.
