This is an outstanding pub, I visited last Friday evening and dropped on all the regulars doing puzzles. There were puzzles all over the pub. One man named Charlie was struggling with a 12 piece jig saw (a picture of a cat) I helped him and he bought me a beer. I will definitely visit again and next time I'll take my Rubik's Cube. Thank you to the Olde Bridge Inn.

We went to the opening of this restaurant and have never been able to find any other Chinese, outside of Hong Kong, that can better it. Fantastic crispy shredded beef and Mongolian lamb, never been able to beat this anywhere. Staff very friendly and put customer service first. Recommended to all our friends and family.

Darton Balti, is the best Indian that my husband and I have been to, and we do try quite a lot. Fantastic to eat in or takeaway. The mixed kebabs are second to non and cannot be beaten. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We take family and friends to this restaurant on a regular basis and recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good indian meal.

Underrated Indian with excellent food and service. Many well known Indians in Darton etc are full up when gate of India has always seemed to struggle since opening (under another name); yet there is no reason for this - if you don't frequent then you are missing out as the regulars know only too well. Probably the, best Indian in Barnsley......

i was very impressed the moment i walked through the door with a warm welcome from everyone stood at the bar. the food was absolutely spot on and the cost was brilliant will be back for a drink with the locals as i was made to feel like one of the regulars thank you to the olde bridge inn and all its regulars

We have used this restaurant at least once a week for both eating in or takeaway for the last 10 years. We have not found anywhere in the world to compare. Family owned and run. Excellent food excellent value. All the staff are friendly and will do anything to please the customers. Over the years we have taken many friends, they have all been back and have nothing but praise for china court and its owners, we enjoy good food and service and you get both at china court. We have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. Brian & Denise

This used to be our "local" Chinese. Since moving, we still use it for both restaurant AND takeaway as we enjoy the food so much.

Found this place by accident and what a gem! Waitress told us they never advertise and it was packed on a Tuesday night. Just superb

We have been going to Beatson House for several years and never had any cause for complaint.

I have been going to the Balti Palace since it opened and each time the service, food and atmosphere are excellent. If you love a good freshly prepared curry then this is the place for you(beer's not bad either)

Great food in a pretty good venue. Try the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding - absolutely delicious!
