Well what can I say - I'll make it short as that's all this place deserves. Saturday night, 4 couples, 40th birthday celebration. Venue beautiful, seated 45 minutes late, starters arrive randomly and most overcooked & overpriced. Mains arrive with some of the starters, no side dishes and all pretty dire, sides arrive when most of the mains finished and this was only after requesting them more than once. No offer of desserts or coffees, in fact the tables were cleared! By then the whole place had turned into a banging nightclub for the Bath sloane's where champagne and cocaine seemed to be the only thing on the menu. When we complained about the service etc we were fobbed off with the offer of cheap wine and this was after having to argue our case for 20 minutes. Will definitely not be frequenting this venue again, dreadfully overpriced food and exceptionally poor service. Please don't waste your time or money!

I came here few days ago with clients for business meeting. Set lunch menu have lots of selection and good price too. The chicken green curry is the best, very authentic. The staffs was friendly. It's a really nice place to show clients around. Highly recommended!

Cannot rate the food highly enough. The soft shell crab starter with mango and chili is to die for. And the Thai crispy belly pork perfect in taste and texture. And all the food is very attractively presented. Only negative comment is that it is very hot in the restaurant - so wear layers!

We came to celebrate our anniversary and never regret at all. We normally pick fancy restaurant but panasia just unexpected beyond that. The lamb skewers for starters so tender and jumbo prawn.. yummy!! I had the grilled duck as main and my husband ordered the sirloin steak marinated in Thai sauce cooked to medium.. absolutely gorgeous. Good selection of wines too. Bath def need more restaurant like this. Thanks so much for the staff who looked after us so well.

Panasia is fab restaurant!! The new menu is fantastic with lots selection of seafood (which is my faves).. Pacific seafood that's what I had mixed seafood with fresh peppercorn on bird nest, lovely!! the decors amazing, cocktails yummy. def will be back!

great food great atmosphere and excellent service

As a person from Indian origin, the take away was absolutely disgusting, the service is so bad once i didn't get my delivery for 2 hour.. i would NOT recommend this takeaway to any one..

found this restaurant by chance on a Sunday evening, we ate on the 2-4-1 deal. To start we had langoustines and chilli lime hummus with bread, olives and oil, both were excellent. For mains we had Trio of old spot pork & Chilli marinated chicken with side orders of Cajun & lime dusted chips and roasted sweet potato both meals tasted fantastic. the staff were very friendly & efficient, offering glasses of water as well as drinks. we did not have deserts as we were too full but looking at them being delivered to other tables if they tasted as good as they looked we missed out but we couldn't eat any more!! next time we are down in Bath we will definitely return to the Lime Lounge for another meal. WELL DONE ON A GREAT SERVICE AND SUPERB FOOD.

at Central Bar this weekend - rally great atmosphere and the cocktails were first class highly recommend the bar and the great cocktails to boot!

I have to say that my visit to Hall & Woodhouse was very disappointing. Poor service, indifferent menu, average food and exorbitant prices. I ordered an egg mayonnaise sandwich. It was described on the menu as 'Proper Egg Mayonnaise'. The sandwich arrived on a large enamel plate (all part of the rather self conscious retro branding) with some limp and inedible lettuce garnish. Nothing else. Just two thick slices of ordinary brown bread with a rather mean filling of (proper?) egg mayonnaise. The price? £6.50. My fellow diners had an equally underwhelming selection of sandwiches, the worst of which are the flat bread type since they are even less impressive and even more overpriced. The service was slow; the chips (skinny chips which were even more hideous than McDonald's) arrived some time later and not with the sandwiches. The soft drinks on offer were all from bottles - nothing fresh. The location is interesting but they are going to have to get the important things right - food, value for money and service. I will certainly not go back and I was advise others to proceed with caution. Definitely a case of style over substance ....

Great Setting by the river and fantastic food on offer, would recommend to anyone. The Evening menu is varied almost spoiled for choice. Will be returning!

well well the menu is fine just dandy, food tastes good, lack of staff on the floor leads to bad service, don't go thinking its going to be fast, half the time you cant find a waiter, surely they don't expect to win using this formula, good food = no service, but we did notice a short balding fellow flapping in the corners, whats that about

very vibrant restaurant . Lots of space , friendly staff, food is tasty at reasonable price.

i recommend this place top class and we will pass on our visit to everybody as a bus driver in Bristol i have spread the word about your food and hospitality to a lot of people and passengers,and explained how easy to get to your place,we will be coming down to see you again in the next couple of weeks with my family and grandkids.

great food great service

went to the restaurant last week with friends. We didn't realize that they change their name to Thai Basil under new management. The food is superb, much better than before with more variety. We ordered duck with tamarind sauce which is the best !!! Highly recommend.

Indeed EXCELLENT food, with traditional as well as European style Chinese. Many orientals were eating there too, always a good sign. Welcome to Bath.
