Excellent service, great atmosphere and setting. The Greek wines are well worth a try - really good quality and good value.
Opa Meze Bar and Greek Restaurant – BathBeware - check what you have bought before you leave the shop. You might have pointed at some nice fresh sushi in the chiller but they have a nasty habit of giving you yesterdays left overs from the back of the pile. When the sushi is fresh it's great, but when it's old it's awful.
Dashi Sushi – BathA Saturday night table for six of us resulted in two being reasonably satisfied with their choices, and four being disappointed - my wife's £14 lump of baked cod in a tired tomato sauce being the lowest point. We loved the setting and the service, but felt there was no great talent in the kitchen. Dry pizza and bland pasta made this a place we won't hurry back to.
Aqua Restaurant and Bar – Bathvery good food is like to be in Greece ,very nice places too, next to the river , if you are very romantic is the places you must be the bar is very good too only the prices is a bit of expensive but when you be there and see the very nice rooms you don't think of the prices
Opa Meze Bar and Greek Restaurant – Bathi had a pad Thai noodle and a side dish of crispy lamb. they were both are very tasty indeed, which i was recommended by a friend, and i am happy to go back any time. the service was good too, but the down side i personally think abit small of the dinning area, but they were busy, so made the place very cosy.
Hong Kong Bistro – BathAfter reading the write up about the restaurant and the chef/owner's experience in Italy, we were dying to try the restaurant! Lovely location on the river, it seemed perfect for Sunday lunch. We couldn't have been more disappointed! How could such a restaurant offer crab sticks as part of its prawn and crab cocktail starter?? How could they serve roast beef swimming in gravy which was identical to the gravy served with the tough pork??? The potatoes were inedible and had probably been standing in water long before they were cooked. All in all very surprisingly disappointing
Bathwick Boatman Restaurant – BathReally nice place, free corkage is good, excellent service, don't have the rogan josh... mediocre at best!
Panahar – BathNice restaurant, excellent food, well worth a visit only minus point is they don’t use table heaters and food is apt to get cold quickly
Jaflong – Batha really friendly place, with fresh home cooked food. Brilliant for meeting new people. Lunchtime food only, they only serve snacks in the evening when it is more bar than bistro.
Central Bar – BathI would definitely recommend this place - lovely food and fantastic service. We had our booking cancelled by another restaurant and they accommodated 10 of us - saved the first night of my hen do!!
Martini – BathIf I a have a visit to Bath this is my first choice. Every time its exceptional.
Martini – BathWalked off Grand Parade Bath into the atmosphere of Istanbul very authentic. Excellent lamb dishes, very good service complimentary to start nibbles and finish with fresh fruit and liquor on the house. Friday evening 22nd June 2007
Marmaris – Bathbooked the restaurant for my wifes 40th birthday, the food, the service and my wifes face was something to savour.we all had a fantastic time Im sure all my family and friends will return sooner rather than later.
Bottelinos – BathFantastic evening - we live locally and had not been before but Marmaris comes highly recommended. Love it. The food is fab, the waiters are professional, the views are perfect and you need to walk around Bath afterwards! Jenny
Marmaris – BathExcellent food a really enjoyable meal for a very reasonable price, will definitely eat here again.
Mai Thai – BathWe thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this friendly restaurant in Bath. It was great to see the food being freshly prepared in the open style kitchen. The menu was different, very difficult to choose, which is always a good sign! We chose the crab and salmon cakes which were delicious, served with a surprisingly tangy salsa, a superb spicy chicken which was served with a chilli spiced coleslaw, and our teenagers had very filling pizzas with nicely different toppings. Wine list good too. The staff couldn't have been nicer and we will definitely revisit next time in Bath. Please open one in Truro!!
Firehouse Rotisserie – BathMy gf and I went there on a Sat night and it was our first time in Bath. The ambiance was just right for an intimate couple even though there were small groups about. The setting is homely rather then plush but the lighting made it more intimate. The food is awesome! We had just one starter (gf doesn't eat alot!) but the main course of Pork belly and duck were deeelicious! Overall we would definitely go back there again and for lunch as we should then be able to see the wonderful view of the river. Total cost including a bottle of wine and 1x dessert was £44.
Bathwick Boatman Restaurant – BathI dined at Firehouse for the first time last week, when I visited Bath with a friend. We were both really impressed with the excellent food. The restaurant? dishes revolve around a Californian/Pacific South West theme. We decided to try the restaurant? staple dish: the Rotisserie. Our free range chicken was flavoured with herbes de Provence, crispy bacon, lemon and Dijon tarragon aioli. Our side orders of fries and a spicy coleslaw were perfect. In the future, it would be lovely to have a branch of this restaurant open near my home in London - I am having cravings for more of their roast chicken already!
