This is a great, family run authentic Italian restaurant with a friendly welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, exceptional and brought to you with a great pride. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to prepare food not on the menu. Do remember to ask for Wines not listed on the menu! A big improvement on their previous location in Dewsbury. It's a must for Italian sea and veg food lovers.

Made my first visit to F&B's this week as usually avoid chains if poss. Was a very loud and busy lunch time but we were seated quickly and despite clearly being rushed off his feet our waiter couldn't do enough for us. We both went for the lunch menu thinking the cheap cost would be borne out by smaller portions but could only manage two of the three courses on offer due to the size of the plates put in front of us. The food was very tasty and we will definitely be back.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family as it provides quality food at affordable prices as well as having a great selection of wine.

Having tried a number of Italian restaurants around the area, my wife and I tried Roberto's for the first time last Saturday. All I can say is, "Why did it take us so long?" From the moment we arrived, we were met with extremely courteous and efficient service that was very impressive. Even when the night started to get busy, the staff remained efficient and professional throughout. The atmosphere was wonderful and brought back memories of when we were married in Italy. It has a traditional Italian feel to it that is sadly lacking in other restaurants we have visited. But what you are really interested in is the food. Well, it was wonderful. Roberto's even pride themselves on using locally sourced produce. We are now looking forward to returning again soon to celebrate our wedding anniversary. And any other occasion.

i would recommend chiquito in Sheffield for its excellent drinks menu never tasted tequila so great!!!!

we ordered Pizza for the kids. we ordered pizza with no chillies. and they had chillies on it. they also had BBQ SAUCE on the pizza base for the sauce instead of traditional tomato sauce/paste and then they had all the topping with chillies on:( it was absolutely disgusting. will not ever order from here.was a waste the kids didn't even eat it.

Cannot rate this pub highly enough. A traditional British pub which has managed to maintain a regular clientele due to it's high standards of hygiene, ambience and friendly owners and staff who always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. No overbearing TV or music, always just right to please everyone. The beer is ther best pint of hand pulled Tetley you will find. The outside area is great in the summer. Very safe with lots of room and equipment for children to play.

Fantastic food, in a fantastic setting, with great service. I have visited the restaurant countless times, and it can certainly rival anywhere I've eaten in Leeds, including Bibis.

I really recommend this restaurant. It has very nice atmosphere and the food is delicious. I enjoyed every night out there.

good food, friendly staff, its worth every penny. we eat at roberto's quite often and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Its our favourite restaurant try it I'm sure you won't be disappointed

We are sadly now ex pats of Yorkshire, but still visit often and we always start with a meal at Roberto's. We always enjoyed meals at the old restaurant in Dewsbury but Mauro has surpassed himself with the new restaurant. The food is always the same very high standard and at sensible prices. The restaurant has a cosmopolitan feel about it although in true Italian style has many features just to remind you of the Italian influence. The staff are always obliging with Michael ( General Manager) always able to accommodate our needs, in fact nothing is ever to much trouble. Anyone who reads this without paying a visit will surely miss out, although worth making a reservation if you do not want to be disappointed.

Roberto's restaurant of Batley, formerly of Dewsbury, is still a family run fantastic Italian restaurant. Set within the fabulous Old Post Office building of which both chef owner & his wife transformed into a wonderful classical venue to come and dine. It is child friendly too. They were winner at the 2008 Customer Excellence Awards and recently won the 2009 Good Ethical Awards, both awards of which were voted by mystery shoppers! This has always been and I suspect always will be, my all time favourite restaurant. The staff are absolutely awesome here and the food is by far the best around. Mauro the chef owner is from Puglia, the south of Italy, and he knows how to deliver good food at great prices! Anyone reading my review and not visit this little gem would be missing out on an experience indeed!! Their blackboard offers fresh fish, venison, homemade pasta. I have also just bkd our Christmas Party there, the prices cater for everyone and all their sweets and ice-creams are homemade too. AND they are the only restaurant I know that are open 7 days a week from 12noon their door remains open all day for everyone!!!!

I have been to zucchini's quite a few times now, with my boyfriend, with works christmas do, hen night (where the hen was presented with a 'unique' souveneir :o) with friends, and have to say i've never benn disappointed, the food is excellent and the service and staff are all lovely. In fact, i'm just on my way there now.....yummy!

We have visited Roberto's a number of times, with our 10 year old daughter, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is always excellent and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and excellent hospitality.

we went midweek and it was not particularly busy .The service was very slow and not interested really . The bar area was untidy with lots of unwashed glasses and the young lady behind it was more interested in flirting with a young customer that prepare our drinks order. The food was okay until we found a long black hair in it.When we asked for the bill it took yet again a long time to be delivered and we could have easily left unnoticed without paying as the staff were so disinterested. We will not be going there again nor will any of our friends

What a hidden gem! After walking with my little boy we stopped for a refreshment, we received an excellent warm greeting from the friendly staff. The choice of drinks was excellent with something for everyone's taste. The beer garden is amazing for the children with a mixture of activities for all ages. Would definitely recommend it to friends and I will be back myself especially for some of the up and coming events which were advertised around the pub.
