waited over 10 mins for a table...no apology for delay...prawn cocktail was watery and warm. sent back...was returned 10 - 15 mins later, more sauce but still warm. Waited over 45 mins for mains- complained to manager-again no apology for the delay- went to see where they were and miraculously appeared on table 10 seconds later!! where had they been. Manager didn't offer any reduction- in fact he avoided our table like the plague. Would NOT eat here ever again.

This has always been and suspect all ways will be my all time favourite restaurant the staff are absolutely awesome here and the food is by far the best around. A little tip if you want the best service from the staff go on a week night or Thursday as weekends are so busy you don't get the personal touch as much, but doesn't really matter as the food makes up for it......enjoy :)

Hello, I really enjoyed Roberto's. The set menu has a great choice and is amazing value for money, especially in the current economic climate. I will happily go there again. It's great for family's but especially for the ladies as one of the waiters is very yummy! Great all round if you ask me! =)

I loved Roberto's when it was in Dewsbury and I visited the fairly new location in Batley last night. The staff were as welcoming as ever and the food was fantastic. The set course meal was very good value for money. A really good atmosphere too. I will be dining there a lot in the future.

Excellent food in a great atmosphere, you would be forgiven for thinking you are in Positano, alas it's just Batley, but don't let that put you off, the wine will help you dream. Currently my favourite eating place, an absolute must, see you Saturday.

I have just dined at Roberto's and would like to correct this web page: Roberto's restaurant, formerly of Pioneer House in Dewsbury has re-located to The Old Post Office in Batley in Market Place, WF17 5DA. We were again most satisfied with the experience, excellent food, good variety on the blackboard, ie, organic venison, frogs legs, wide selection of fresh fish all a honest prices. The Chef is the owner and all same friendly and efficient staff as before. The 3 course set menu at 13.50 is still available with a free glass of wine too! My parents were dining at Bibi's Italian rest in Leeds once a week,they now dine at Roberto's in Batley 1/2 times a week! They say that Roberto's restaurant is the place to go for excellent food and good service. I now go every Sunday with the kids who have the kids menu at 6.95. It is open 7 days a week from 5.30pm & Sun from 4.30pm. YOU SHOULD ALL TRY IT OUT, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Excellent eatery 2 4 1 on Wednesday night on pizza and pasta dishes, extensive menu all dishes are fantastic, I frequent Zucchinis regularly - highly recommended 5* in my opinion

We have been visiting cypriana for nearly a year now and was surprised to see that it had been taken over by two new owners. we didn't think that they would be able to give us the kind of service we received from the old owners but was horribly wrong. the service was fantastic and even though it was busy we felt we were being given extra special treatment. our waitress was very polite and all the staff seemed happy to be working with their new bosses. the food again was excellent, i ordered the lasagna and my husband ordered the carbonara pasta, both of which you could tell were homemade, oh and the soup is the best i have tasted in a long time. prices are very good,i will definitely be going back. well done Andy and Dave thanks

I found the atmosphere in the restaurant was lively yet relaxed, the manager was very attentive and made the visit memorable, he went out of his way to make us feel like we were special and he was happy to see us. the staff were attentive to our needs and i would recommend visiting the restaurant. the food is as to be expected in this type of restaurant. I have visited many Frankies & Benny's over the past couple of years but never been made to feel this welcome

We dined in a couple and later in a table of 12 persons. Both occasions the food was out of this world, the service was excellent and very professional but also very friendly indeed. My husband had fillet steak and I had monkfish gambas. Delicious and the side orders of veg were just done as we liked, not over cooked like in some places! Homemade tiramisu and creme brule were also great. My friend had their homemade panna cotta and was left speechless. The chef came out of the kitchen who told us he is the owner and treated us with such attention. The whole atmosphere was great, but most importantly the food was delicious, fresh and with a great variety. In our table of 12, the chef made a dish to please 1 of us with ingredients just to please that person, the chef/owner is exactly what you would call a chef! They are moving to Batley in the new year and we will most certainly be following them as customers.

A very friendly welcoming restaurant. The chef is fantastic and will even make things that are not on the menu, if possible. A great selection for vegetarians and those that like good food presented well. The best place in Dewsbury.

I visited Zucchini and really enjoyed it. It was really lively with a good atmosphere and the food was very enjoyable. I definitely recommend it!

This was a very entertaining evening. A typical pub grub atmosphere. You have to try the giant gammon with three eggs it is fantastic and very cheap. Would definitely recommend and will be going to dine there again.

We have been to La Dolce Vita, the sister restaurant in Birtall, many times before but this was our first visit to Zucchini. The menu was extensive, the food was excellent, and my 6 year old cannot wait to go back.

Always love going to this place, food is cooked fast and quality is very good. Highly recommend.

You can be sure of a very warm and friendly welcome at the Cypriana from Costas, Brenda and Katie. The food is superb and so is the service. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience, will now be making it our local. The food was out of this world, we were a party of 10 and all had different starters and main courses, everyone was happy, the fillet steaks were so soft they could be cut with a fork! The rest. Decor was like sitting in a rest. in London, you must try this place out, they are professional but friendly and the chef owner will come out speak to you too.
