Mimos is just amazing. We stay at the Westpoint Hotel just round the corner quite often and always eat at Mimos the pasta is devine and the other dishes are simply delicious. The children always look forward to coming to London for the weekend - because they know they're going to have dinner at Mimos!!

I often go to restaurants and this is probably the worst restaurant experience I have had. I ordered pasta in a chili-tomato sauce. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was so hot that it was hardly eatable (I usually love hot food). I told the waitress that the food was too hot and her reply was: So? Are you finished? Don't go here.

I enjoyed my birthday party celebration at Erebuni. We had the banquet menu where all the starters are on the table for everyone to share - plenty of food to fill you up and very good quality. They then brought out the mains for everyone to share: Shashlik and Lula kebab which was to die for. My birthday was great - the music and drinks just added to all the fun!

Guys I worked there for few weeks in 1991 and I can say it is one of the best places in London where you can taste real genuine food and original good from all over Europe. Take a rest and get there ... amazing !!! Ciao Valeriano

Erebuni Restaurant is one of those places where you are surprised that such a place could be so fun and where the food is so surprisingly good, when compared to other Russian or Eastern restaurants. The prices are worth the quality the restaurant provides. I think if you are up for something new, this is the place to go - especially if you are planning a party!

Roast Duck - succulent morsels of crispy skin, layered fat and juicy meat - without the gamey fowl aftertaste! The best the chinese kingdom has to offer have come here to rest on your palate. Vegetables are blanched well, and is served to you cooked, yet mantains its appetising healthy green colour - crunchy and bite-friendly (my incisors don't meet, so it helps). The jasmine fragrant white rice is nicely boiled, a tad soft for the chew, but choke-proof. The offering by the famous Beijing Quan Ju De Ya pales in comparison(coagulated duck fat anyone?) to what they offer here. Both the outlets in Bayswater and Gerard St near Leicester Sq are consistently good. Money well spent.

Take time, do not be in a hurry. If you do not know the japanese food, find out first before going to INAHO. They might not be anymore what they used to be in 1990's but still it is a good experience.

We ate at Erebuni a few weeks ago and enjoyed it very much. The food was great! I had Russian food before in London and this was by far my favourite. The atmosphere and service was friendly. Would recommend to go and try for yourselves!

We actually had the intention of going to Nikita’s for a Russian meal but we spent three hours looking for it and somehow we ended up in Kensington. The nice owner of a Russian shop told us Erebuni was around here but failed to mention that it was actually inside a hotel! Luckily we bumped into a man who was staying in the hotel and we asked him for directions, and he dutifully informed us we had to go into the hotel and downstairs. Hell to find, but well worth it. I’ve never actually been to Russia but I was told that the décor was very authentic - low lighting, hearty colours like red on green. We came at a bit of an awkward time and we were the only diners at the restaurant, which was fine with us. My date decided to order for me since I knew nothing of Russian cuisine, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. She started me off with something safe: an ukha po-domashnemu (clear fish broth), which was fine, but with the Russian bread as an accompaniment really I wanted something more savoury so I ended up trading for her mysnaya solyanka (sour meat soup - almost a porridge). She was afraid that I wouldn’t like it but I actually really enjoyed it. The flavour was unlike anything I had ever eaten - packed with spices and a strong zesty punch. I do admit it is a bit of a refined taste, and I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. For the main I had kartoshka (fried potatoes with creamed onions and mushrooms). I was shocked that I enjoyed a vegetarian dish so much since I considered myself a hardcore carnivore, but this was simply amazing. Potatoes are such versatile vegetables but I can’t remember a dish better utilising it than this one. My favourite of the evening. For dessert we both had a napoleon (Russian pastry filled with whipped cream). Deliciously flaky and light, but didn’t feel much different from any other pastries. I still finished the whole thing however (perhaps I shouldn’t have, the portions were quite large) with some Armenian coffee to balance off the rich and sweetness. The waitress was great, spoke perfect Russian to my date and probably made some jokes at my expense. ;) The soundtrack to the evening was some repeats of cheesy Russian pop, which was fine since I didn’t understand a thing but apparently the lyrics were terrible. Worth a visit if you want to venture down into the Russian underworld but don’t dare to go to Piter.

What a litte gem this restaurant is! We were so pleased we found it, off the beaten track, away from all the names and chains of Oxford Street and the area. Authentically Iranian, swift service and extremely reasonably priced. It was great to watch the bread being made in the oven just inside the door. Will definitely seek this place out again! I had a chance to visit this intimate latin infused salsa club while on holiday in London and had a great time with my friends. The music was great and so was the service.
