DONT GO HERE. Paid £8.50 for a 'combo' which was a tiny bap and a side of coleslaw. Not even a 'side' which was mentioned on the menu. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and as for the food, mediocre at best. Over priced garbage.

Wow what is not to like about this fantastic restaurant? I am choosy when it comes to food and this did NOT disappoint. Fresh tasty food, excellent vegetarian choices also served in a gorgeous restaurant by friendly staff. I could not recommend highly enough.

We were in Belfast four a few days and dropped in to the Red Devil. What can a say we were made very welcome. Jimmy .

Friendly, professional service. Food always great. Highly recommended. I see its being refurbished, hasnt affected the service, must be very efficiently managed. Can I just add that the ladies washroom is probably the cleanest I've ever visited.

Gaze is BY FAR our flat's favorite takeaway spot. In fact, it is all we purchase when we're feelin lazy. The crispy chicken peking style are a solid go-to and the duck-dish portions are exceptional. Even the seafood dishes are well fresh, well-prepared, and taste delicious. Might just order one now haha!

Dear sir or madam,On the Wednesday the 26th of June at around 1.15pm, I arrived at the Chester restaurant on the Antrim Road Belfast for a celebration meal with my dear friend. On entering the premises, a gentleman called Mr O’Neill approached us and asked if we were in for a meal, my friend said yes and asked if we could have a booth. Mr O’Neill asked if we had booked and my friend said no, She said that she didn’t know that she had to book as she had eaten there many times before and had never booked. He informed us that it was busy and that he had bookings coming in even though there were booths free. He went to check the bookings and came back and said we could come back at 2pm if we wanted a booth. He looked at his watch and said to come back in another 45mins. It is hard to put into words, but the way he spoke to us was negative and his rude attitude towards us made us feel truly upset for daring to ask for a booth. I informed Mr O’Neill that I didn’t like the way he was speaking to us, making us feel “how dare we ask for a booth”. I had travelled a bit to get to the restaurant and was shocked at his attitude. We sat down on the chair beside the door discussing where else we could go when Mr O’Neill came over and said “ladies there’s a table free in the corner booth, so we went up to have our lunch. Within minutes of sitting down to have lunch, the customers that had been there had finished and left the restaurant. There were around 5 booths free, so we were expecting to see a load of bookings come in. At around 2pm the so called bookings that were coming had not arrived. I felt upset that he was intending to send us home for 45mins and to come back at 2pm knowing that he had had booths free but didn’t want to give us one. The fact was, that no one had arrived to fill the tables within that time span that we were there. I eat out at the Chester on a regular basis, but never ever have I had anyone make me feel that I shouldn’t be there. On leaving the premises, I asked one of the waitresses with blond hair who he was? Was he the manager? She informed me that he was the supervisor. I asked for his name and she kindly asked me if everything was alright. I informed her of what had happened. I informed her of the empty booths that were meant to have been booked, but no one had arrived to claim them. I informed her that I was more annoyed that he was asking us to come back in 45 mins to get a booth when it was obvious that there were lots of tables, and no one had come into the restaurant while we were there to fill them.I said that I felt upset at the way he spoke to us and wanted to write a letter in of complaint. The lady said that she thought it were best to talk to him face to face to discuss our concerns instead of writing a letter, so I agreed. The lady had remembered me from many previous trips to the Chester and had known me as a regular customer. The lady went over to Mr O’Neill to inform him of the situation.It seemed like a minute or two before Mr O’Neill came over to me and my friend at the exit of the premises. He stormed over and said “right you want my details”, I said no, I thought we were going to chat. He said “right what do you want to discuss”. I was totally taken back by his sharp rude attitude towards me that I said it doesn’t matter I’ll just take your name. He wrote his name on a piece of paper and handed it to me. We left and got into my car. I was really upset that a person in his position, working and dealing with the public would speak to customers in this way. Just as I was about to put on my seat belt, Mr O’Neill came up to the driver’s window of my car. I rolled my window down and Mr O’Neill said “ I’ve just been told that you said that I told you to come back in 45 mins for a booth”. I said yes that right. He said that he didn’t say that, and that I must have misunderstood his accent. I said that I understood his accent very well and that I knew what he had said. My friend was also able to confirm this. I felt intimidated by his presence at my car window, he had known that I was upset in the restaurant but made no effort to sort it out on the premises or ask if everything was all right. He tried to say that I misunderstood, but I said that I knew exactly what he said. I said that he had no people skills and he asked me what I worked at. I told him and then he asked me where I worked. I couldn’t believe what he was asking me so I informed him that it was none of his business. He said “well you want to know my details”. I was really upset with Mr O’Neill with his intimidating presence at my car window arguing in the middle of the car park at the Chester. At this point Mr O’Neill began to back away and said that he was sorry if I misunderstood what he had said but that he didn’t say it, I was really upset and said that I didn’t believe he was sorry. As I was driving away Mr O’ Neill stood and wrote down my number plate in full view of me. Why this was necessary? I do not know, but I felt sick to my stomach that he was still trying to intimidate me with this action. I went out with my friend for a celebration meal today, and it ended up being the worse experience of my life. I feel so upset by the whole ordeal that I know I could never go back to these premises. this is not the first that ive visited mcgintys.. its a fabulous retaurant that offers a wide range of delicious fresh food, with high quality service, and very friendly staff. me and my partner went a few nights ago and it was lovely...again! :) p.s the chicken goujons are to die for, and steaks are always cooked to ur own satisfaction :) !

Went last Sunday the menu was great and only 12.95 for three courses I had the slow cooked roast beef it was amazing my wife had the hole hake wit spring onions chilling and ginger all I can say is this food would grace any restaurant in Belfast apart from the price it was to cheap yes to cheap and all the desserts where homemade not defrost and serve like the rest of the places on the Antrim road a must visit and it's open we'd to sat as well for the same price I can't wait to go back next we'd night

Was at Ruba Spice last night, will never be back !!!! food was lovely but attitude of a member of staff was worse than bad !!! and to top it all he had the nerve to charge £19.50 for 3 half full glasses of wine !!!! definitely not worth a visit !!!!
