Just returned home after fantastic meal. Service excellent unlike other restaurants waiters and waitresses not constantly hovering. Everyone very pleasant. Be back soon.

I have just eaten at the restaurant in Brockmoor. I booked for 24 people, I rang to say some guests were not local and to allow a few minutes as they unaware of the locality. Reply was "no problem", As it was the majority had arrived when we did at 7.00pm. Nobody approached and asked us to order and at a few minutes past 7 the Manager refused us the Early bird menus. I explained to him (John) that I had made the call and also left voicemail asking to be excused if arriving late. As it was we were on time. The manager was most undo-operative and flatly refused to compromise. My plea/explaination wen on for some 10 minutes. John was totally inconsiderate and told me he did Not value our booking as he frequently had bookings of that size. I said we may have to go elsewhere as I had told the others we would get the earlybird concession. He replied with "You ca go to the cripple if you like. Eventually I asked to speak to his Manager But he said he was the Manager. I then asked for the phone number of his Senior but he flatly refused to give it and told me to look on the website. At this point two other guests from the party came to support me and he eventually gave me the telephone number of his senior. Believe it or not when another guest arrived he allowed us to have the earlybird concession !! What a thoroughly unreasonable impolite, and sour faced member of the staff in an otherwise good restaurant.

Have been here numerous times, fantastic service, staff could not be more attentive if they wanted to be, menu has a wide selection and staff will explain contents of any dish you want if required. We always go for early bird special and come out feeling as if we will not be able to eat for days. Hopefully see you there soon.

I visited with friends. We were booked in on the Early diner. After the starters, we were waiting over an hour for mains. The chicken was reformed and smothered in an oily sauce. Vegetables were also soaked with heavy oil. Expensive for what it was!!

Enjoyed ourselves everytime we have dined with excellent service and fantastic food. Particularly enjoyed the Dean Martin evening.

After finding the restaurant by chance on this website phoned and booked it,it was a very busy Saturday night but we were showed to our table and looked through a fantastic menu of which you are spoilt for choice,service and food was faultless,and you were'nt rushed at all will definitely go again and will recommend to all my friends...thanx again Rachael x

We were a family of ten people spanning three generations ,The welcome was wonderful the atmosphere was fantastic from the moment we arrived, the food was amazing, all the staff were very attentive.We went back to our hotel a very happy family. " Thank you all so much"

First visit today - lunch was superb, service excellent - wonderful setting and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing food - will definately be returning soon! Thank you.

Friendly place, great service, lovely food and we even almost got serenaded before we left.
