Favourite venue for food, well cooked, never had a duff meal, only pub we go to now .

I have been to your pub meany times, the food is great but felt like this time the pub seems a little tired and really didn’t like the photo copied, so could not be cleaned

Good food, excellent atmosphere and good service

We had a steak with prawn topper, steak was ordered as medium rare but it was more like medium to well done. Quality of steak was poor. Service was ok. Value for money was poor, bill came to £95 for two people, 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 soft drinks. We went to miller and Carter the week before, bill was £140 with starters, a bottle of wine, desserts and a cocktail. Steak quality was incomparable. Lesson learnt.

We booked a table for 22 people at the Red Lion for a Christmas meet up with friends. The food is always delicious and they are very accommodating for a large party. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very Christmassy. Thank you xx

Normally a great meal with good service, but on this time Dec 22 it was very disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food, which then looked like it had been sitting under heat lights to keep warm, some of the meals the sauces seemed dried up. I was so annoyed as I had been telling my visiting family what a fantastic place it is , and this time it failed.

The food was awesome. I took my niece who's from London and she enjoyed the customer service, the food was amazing. Freshly cooked. And the starters 3 different hoummous was fantastic. The shisha lounge was amazing. Reason why we loved it was because we could hear ourselves talking and it was so warm and relaxing. Definitely will be back

We met here on Sunday for a family meet up, the staff were very friendly and helped us all sit together. The food was excellent fairly priced and good options for gluten free. We will return when meeting up again, highly recommended.

Absolutely love going here - the food is lovely (lots of choices particularly amazing for me as I am a fussy eater); the service is brilliant and really accommodating with my friends requests for extra gravy and customer and with no additional charges and great value for money. Really comfortable place to go to and t is our favourite place to go to now.

We had a lovely meal - just wish you offered two sizes - so people with smaller appetites don't end up wasting food Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year

Lunch 18th December 2025 The plates were cold. The food was cold. Service average. Food might have been enjoyable if hot.

We have just had our works christmas lunch at The Red Lion. We had a fantastic time. The place looked great, really festive. The staff were lovely and nothing we asked for was a problem. The food was amazing! Such large portions and was brought out roasting hot. Really good value for money. Will definitely be returning. Can't recommend this place enough

Really good quality food and plentiful. Value for money and good service. Our bill had items on in error but this was quickly corrected without fuss.
