Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed it a lot.
The Red Lion – CoventryAbsolutely brilliant as always. Never had a bad meal. Staff are excellent
The Red Lion – CoventryWe went for an early evening , the staff were friendly and there’s always a warm welcome! On the whole the food was ok, the prawn cocktail was not very good, runny sauce which tasted nothing like marie rose and the prawns had either been microwaved or defrosted quickly, they were chewy and served with stale bread. Again the main prawn cocktail wasn’t very nice but the lasagne and kids meal was great!
The Red Lion – CoventryThe afternoon tea was unique and a nice change from the usual type. However, the portions were small and the houmous could have been served with flat bread. Otherwise it was a nice experience.
Aqua Food and Mood – CoventryWe had lunch at Panda Mami for a birthday celebration. We liked the wide choice of dishes, with plenty of vegetarian options and very clear labels for nuts, gluten etc (one minor caveat: I would have liked to see labelling on the desserts too). All very tasty! Amazingly good value for the set price including soft drinks at £13.99 per person and especially the free birthday meal offer. The staff were great and made it really special - they sang 'happy birthday' with cake and candles to blow out at the end of our meal. We look forward to eating at Panda Mami again soon!
Panda Mami – WarwickBooked a table for eight of us to eat out after the National Koi Show. What an amazing place, beautiful location and the food was excellent, the service was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and made sure we all had everything we needed. Next year when the show is on I will book to eat there again.
The Red Lion – CoventryAbsolutely horrendous experience! Booked for our wedding anniversary and it was a disaster. Waited for a hour for the food to arrive and when it did it wouldn't have fed it to my dog. They had clearly forgot our order and scrambled round to make two serve up two roast beef dinners. Meat was two tiny little chunks which were rock hard. I sent it back for a full refund and ended up going to the Harvester which was a much more pleasant experience.
The Red Lion – CoventryDisappointing visit. Food was cold and bland. Tasted like it was re heated from lunch. Even the sushi tasted bland. Lids on the food left open. Despite being there at 5.30 there wasn’t much food and what was there wasn’t up to much. For £18.99 a person It wasn’t worth it. Shame.
Panda Mami – WarwickVisited with friends for food and drinks . Was the hottest day and the staff were still happy smiling and very welcoming , We all ordered the halloumi sweet chilli chicken which was lovely great value for money and good wait time .have visited a few times before for Mother’s Day and Valentines and can’t complain it’s always been spot on .
The Red Lion – CoventryAlways enjoy our food here. All 7 of us had something different, every meal was delicious. Highly recommend. The staff are always friendly too.
The Red Lion – CoventryStaff friendly but service poor - had to remind the waitress 3 times for our drinks . Prawn.crackers soft I imagine they had been out a long time. Food very average- many of the lids left open .
Panda Mami – WarwickDisappointed very little atmosphere and extremely hot despite having a couple of fans on. The food was ok....but nothing that would make us return....battered prawns with shells left on was odd. Crispy duck for duck pancakes shoukd be shedded not minced..it was tasteless. A cheap meal at 18.99 inc a beer but still would not retun
Panda Mami – WarwickWe visited for Sunday lunch, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Sea Bass and my wife had the roast turkey for Sunday lunch. The service was good and pleasant.
The Red Lion – CoventryLovely afternoon. Menu has so much to choose from, all really tasty dishes, so spoilt for choice. All come freshly cooked and delicious and really good portions. Lovely friendly staff throughout. Prices are also very good for the price of the portions.
The Red Lion – CoventryI made a booking having had a look at the sample menu, noticing that this indicated £12.99 at lunch time. There was no evening sample, but I figured the evening could not be too much more. To be clear we paid almost £20 each. The food was fair quality, and an excellent range. We had a choice of complimentary drinks, which 2 of us had. It took a long time to get our drinks, in hindsight I should have fetched them from the bar rather than waiting for the waiter. I don’t regret it, however if I go back I will try and get into the other main restaurant on campus.
Panda Mami – WarwickCannot be faulted. Well cooked and presented. Staff were attentive without being pushy. We will return.
The Red Lion – CoventryThe food was delicious. Lots of choice and freshly cooked. Enjoyed the sushi. Would definitely return as was good value for the money and tasty. All three of us enjoyed our good.
Panda Mami – WarwickAs usual we received a warm welcome by the lovely team when we arrived. A good selection on offer on the menu, we each chose our preferred courses and everything was available. The Red Lion always, without fail, offers good value for money. We were not disappointed by the quality of the food which was presented well in a timely manner. Great pub, great food, great staff. Our favourite, we will be back!
