The Warwickshire Lad is just up the road but we don’t go often enough! The atmosphere is friendly, the staff are courteous and obliging and the food was good. We’ll definitely try to go more often.

The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullThe meals at The Warwickshire Lad were delicious & the presentation was amazing. The Staff were so friendly. We would highly recommend this place.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullFourth time here, again, had an excellent meal, service from the staff was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to all.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullDespite them making us call and book and then call again 2 hours before we were due to arrive to confirm the exact numbers, which we did. They were not ready for us or even capable of dealing with a group of 12 people. We waited over an hour for the starter and 2 hours for the main course. We were booked in for 7:30 pm and by 9:30 when we still didn't have our food, part of the party who had a young child ended up requesting food to go, which we then had to ask for 3 times and it still wasn't brought out until 9:45pm. The food was OK at best, not very hot and the lamb had a very strange texture and the chicken was rubbery, the restaurant looked nice and clean but the staff looked really miserable and didn't smile at all. Really disappointing and to be honest wish we would have picked somewhere else to celebrate my birthday as after 2 and half hours and only just getting our food, those of us that were left were really fed up and just wanted to go home. I have tried speaking to them about this since but they ignore all communications.Visited May 2015
The Ginger Tree – SolihullVery poor slow service, low quality microwave food makes us totally disappointed, the plastic chess nan toke me in battle filed, had a hard fight with it but I was lost. Amazingly had to listen all the bullshit desi crap political talk. It's not a family place at all, defintley won't go again.
Poncho Khana – SolihullVery good food at good prices and a fine atmosphere.
Hobs Meadow – SolihullLoved the food and service. Stratford upon Avon better than Harbourne and Bromesgrove as it sells draught beer and is a really relaxing atmosphere and nice decor. Didn't like Harbourne, to much like a canteen and bad for parking. Bromesgrove comes second. When is the Shirley Parkgate restaurant opening, it would save us travelling in the car? Overall we really like visiting. Cheers and NO complaints from us.
Prezzo – SolihullFantastic food , staff very friendly and attentive. Value for money... would recommend a visit.. Will certainly visit again.
Paprika Longbridge – SolihullHaving been to the Malt Shovel in the past we enjoyed the food so I booked for my birthday with my wife and arrived at 12.15 to find the door locked. After knocking on the door without success we tried again, this brought a response of "hold on I'm coming," the door was opened by a waitress and when I stood aside to let my wife,"are you coming in or not?" Having established we had booked in advance we were given a table in the corner although only one table was occupied. We asked for another table and ordered two gin and tonics. There were 3 waiters and 1 waitress, no attempt was made to bring our drinks and after 13 to 14 minutes we got up and walked out. We shall not be returning.
The Malt Shovel At Barston – SolihullThe food was amazing ! Delicious - wonderful service.
Paprika Longbridge – SolihullFood is excellent but the service is rubbish, waiters are very rude and slow.
Shades Of Raj – SolihullHad a fantastic meal, great little pub, good traditional ales for hubby, will be going again very soon.
Boot Inn – SolihullMy wife and I along with two friends had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The food was a revelation, so much so that my wife said she wanted a divorce so she could marry the chef!! Mmmm food for thought!
The Beeches Bar and Grill – SolihullService and food amazing in the restaurant and the takeaway just as good. Best Indian in Solihull by far.
Spice Club – SolihullGood service no dressing on the salad garnish starter was nice but main meal was not good spaghetti de fruits de mer which sounded amazing but was basically spaghetti in tomato sauce with a shop brought seafood cocktail I could of created better it was stodgy thankfully it was a kgb voucher if I would of paid full price I'd av been very disappointed and had to ask for everything eg pepper parmesan won't be going back.
Pavarotti – SolihullThe Best Indian restaurant In Solihull. The most delicious and tastiest of dishes from start to to finish along with lots of surprise treats. So absolutely recommend this Indian restaurant in Solihull to anyone and everyone.
Spice Club – SolihullThe meal my wife & I had last Saturday lunchtime was very good. The staff were obliging - BUT! - The noise (under no circumstances could it be called 'music' ) coming from the speakers was more than any normal person could be expected to suffer.- Surely the person who was responsible for this cacophonous rubbish must know that the average age of customers on a lunchtime must be older rather than the youngsters who use the venue at nights, and who seem to appreciate this type of noise. If whoever is responsibe cannot see that the customers who frequent The Hobs Meadow for a lunchtime meal do not appreciate their choice of musical rubbish, then I suggest that they need to look for another job!
Hobs Meadow – SolihullFood good, sweet portion a bit on the small side, Very restricted car parking. Had to get the OK to park the car at the pub opposite. I suggested that this should be on their website, but I was told there had been no problems before. I had pranged my car getting out of a tight situation looking for a their car park
