The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullVisited yesterday with a friend. Enjoyed scampi and lovely chips. Will definitely go back.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullLovely meal on Saturday night. Great menu, lovely food and portion size and very friendly and efficient staff. Will be returning again.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullGood food, good service, reasonable prices.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullI have dined at The Warwickshire Lad many times over the past 20 to 30 years and chefs have come and gone. This week I enjoyed probably the nicest meal I have ever been served there. I chose slow roasted belly draft, with crackling, red cabbage, potato dauphinoise and a really wonderful gravy. The pork was succulent and a generous portion, the potatoes were light and creamy, they were a perfect accompaniment. For pud, we shared a bramley apple pie and custard, also really scrummy. I won't be leaving it as long before I go back for more. It's a lovely olde worlde pub, with ample parking, we dined al fresco, there is plenty of room if you use a stroller or a wheelchair.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullFriendly and efficient staff. Good selection of reasonably priced dishes on the menu. We had the fish and chips (lovely big piece of fish) and slow cooked belly pork which was delicious. Had cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding dessert - though we found these a bit too sweet for our tastes.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullBooked last minute for dinner on a Wed night, first time visit. Sat outside in the very pleasant beer garden. Staff were lovely, food great and good range of drinks. We'll definitely be back!
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullThree of us had lunch on Monday 15th June. We all chose the liver and bacon main. We’ve had this dish before and it was up to its usual tasty, well cooked standard. Served beautifully by attentive friendly staff. Desserts were also delicious and we had a lovely time. Prices are very competitive and in this case excellent value. One of our party is coeliac and the menu caters for this with excellent choices. Can’t wait for our next visit.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullSuperb food cooked by a brilliant chef! Roast beef dinner was lovely & generous portion of.beef, fresh veg & homemade yorkie I totally enjoyed it, my partner had the liver, he cleared his plate, what more can I say! Oh & the gravy was delicious too!
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullWe have been eating at Warwickshire Lad for many years and the food is excellent and so is the service. My wife wondered whether one dish on menu would prove too spicy, the lady serving us went out of her way to ensure the dish was suitable, even bringing a small sample of the sauce for my wife to taste. It was fine and we all had an excellent meal. What wonderful customer relations this kind of super service builds up. Most impressed and grateful.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullLovely food as normal
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullFour of us dined here last Saturday and we all enjoyed our meals which were well cooked and beautifully presented. We thought the wine was very reasonable unlike some local restaurants. The staff were very efficient and attentive. There’s a nice ambience to the place. We shall definitely visit again.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullGreat food as always , Connor is great as we’re all of the staff . Could do with music low key being played maybe . Overall a 8/10
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullStaff were very attentive and courteous. The lasagna was excellent and the service quick and efficient. Four of us had a meal and all meals were well presented, we also had a number of beverages, the bottle of wine was good too.
The Warwickshire Lad – SolihullThe Warwickshire Lad is just up the road but we don’t go often enough! The atmosphere is friendly, the staff are courteous and obliging and the food was good. We’ll definitely try to go more often.
