Always food quality on top

We've had an amazing Sunday meal at Da Gino in Streetly. Food was just beautiful, staff very professional and friendly and the personal touch was just what we were looking for. Chef himself took the time to have a chat with us (lovely and very friendly Chef) to ensure everything was fine and we were happy. We were just delighted with the food and the atmosphere. There's nothing that would need improvement - everything was just amazing!!! We are already rebooking :) Great restaurant and so worth visiting !!!

Had a fabulous night here for my father's 80th birthday on Saturday evening. Staff were amazing and food top notch. Service was superb considering the time and day. Restaurant was also full so great work to the team. If there were issues before, they've definitely been ironed out and we'll be back again.

I'm sorry to say, had a massive bad experience. Walked out after 30 minutes massively over booked, no one greeted us couldn't get a drink people werethere for over 1 hour

We go to da Ginos on special occasions over a good many years and always had wonderful meal Staff were very attentive Our favourite restaurant Highly recommended Don’t know how people can give them bad reviews .

Hmm. Having going to Gino’s for fifteen years, with the new owners it was bound to be different. Expected. Good luck to them. BUT, the reception is no longer comfortable & the wait time for dinner (Sunday lunch) was totally ridiculous - an hour! To be fair they did have a huge birthday party going on upstairs, Plus it was sooooo noisy. Just not a comfortable lunch. The food was not of the quality we’d know to expect - my pasta starter was a little tasteless & burnt. The main course was okay, but £6.50 for half a lager is outrageous! Added to this, the bill was wrong but rectified after checking it, with a complimentary bottle of wine thrown in. The food is still okay, thanks to Franko, but …. , no, not for us

So nice to have a decent Italian restaurant in walking distance of home Thinking opening night was Wednesday we booked for Friday which then we found out was opening night The restaurant was busy it had a lovely busy atmosphere. We sat by the open kitchen which was great entertainment The chef and team were brilliant getting food out on time The team while on opening night all had everything under control....very professional We only had a main courses steak and spag bol which was delicious washed down with lovely glass of house red. We really wish Marcella and Jalal and their fabulous team all the best in this new adventure Looking forward to our next visit

Da Gino didn’t disappoint. Great atmosphere, service and food. Wonderful to see the team, refurbishment really good. Ella front of house was her usual welcoming self. Great evening and back soon

Nice place, kitchen open, food was nice but very small portions, where was the pizza menu, noticed other tables had much larger portions, think we got starters as mains. Will not be returning.

Enjoyed our meal at Da Gino on NYE. Despite explaining that there some staff shortages, the service didn’t suffer during our meal! The meal itself was very good and we have never been disappointed anytime we have visited over the years!

Fantastic lunch with family, excellent food and service. This is our second visit in a matter of days, since the new management team have taken over. You are made to feel so welcome as soon as you walk in, creating a warm but sophisticated dinner party ambience. So pleased to have a high quality Italian restaurant in Streetly Village. Highly recommended !

I went with my Sister for my Birthday . Absolutely amazing service from arrival. Staff were very welcoming and warm. The food suggestions were delicious ! We will definitely be back with my parents. Such a beautiful experience
