The best fish and chip takeaway we have had in a long time. The guy behind the counter asked if we wanted it lightly battered or not, which I thought was great service. As a result the very fresh fish was melt in the mouth. Chips were perfect too. The staff were very nice and chatty too. Will definitely return!

Enjoyed our panini's from Tasty Bites. Sweet chilli chicken with quality 'Real' crisps. Delivered to the office as well.

We usually order from here often and never have any complains but we ordered from here 2 days ago and wow! We all have food poisoning and very ill. Won't stop us from ordering from here as we do like it and are regulars but we are dissapointed with the restaurant. This could of been a general mistake and not even anybody's fault.

I have been eating at Johns restaurant for quite a few years now , first in the China Palace and now in the Golden Palace, and it is the best. No negative vibes from me, wonderful food, wonderful people. . Jack

I know I shouldn’t but I like Frankie and Bennys! YES it’s part of a chain, YES it’s noisy and YES it’s full of kids but the atmosphere is always good, the service friendly, the menu gives you lots of choice and the Italian-American theme works for me. We always go here before taking in a movie at the Odeon over the road.

My wife and I have been regular visitors to Go Greek for almost four years. We find it a very relaxing place to eat. The staff have that rare quality of making one seem more than just a paying customer. The chef obviously knows how to cook and present authentic Greek food. (We have eaten in Greece itself.). All the dishes are a pleasure to eat. The fish, especially the red snapper, is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The people of Layton are very lucky to have this restaurant in their neighbourhood. We have to travel three quarters of an hour to get there!

I used to be a waiter at this cafe and let me say I've never been so happy to work In the place great staff polite well manned and always nice to you. We serve food and drinks with a smile and ask if they want anything else will always hold a special place in my heat and look to work there again

Whitegate kitchen staff ok outside staff are disrespectful.and thornton outside staff are very good. Kitchen staff can't cook to save the lives.

Would not recommend this place. Me and my partner don't normally complain quite easily pleased but the service and food here awful.

We go to this restaurant every time when we like to eat Chinese. The food is very nice, is no MSG and the staff are friendly. fully recommend this place.

I love this place. The Tikka Masala is beautiful and creamy. The kebabs are the best by far I have ever tasted from anywhere. On a bad note I have had the tom tits after every kebab from here. But to be honest it doesn't put me off. It's worth it ha.

We paid our first visit to this local eatery last week having heard very good reviews. The service was very good, as expected in a 5 table restaurant, and the food was excellent, freshly prepared ingredients made to order. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

This restaurant has definitely got the wow factor!No expense spared on this.Food excellent.Beware the Biriyani is a meal for 2 unless you have a huge appetite.Staff attentive but a long wait from starter to main.However it was worth waiting for.My only gripe is that the plates for the main course were cold.A very pleasant experience overall.Worth a visit.

Lovely tapas great cosy atmosphere fantastic food was that nice we have went home and booked another deal for this weekend .

Not been to Mamma’s for ages but we were off to a show at the Grand and thought we’d have a quick bite first. Whilst I was waiting for my wife I noticed on the signage that Mamma’s opened in 1980 – the year before I did my O-levels. That’s staying power! It really is your archetypal Italian with checked tablecloths and straw-covered bottles of Chianti and as the years go by these kind of places are becoming more and more thin on the ground. Just had a pizza, a lasagne, a bottle of Frascati and a couple of coffees but it certainly did the trick.

Top class, same owners for 40 years. Very clean with excellent service, very busy place, get your order in early.

Went to Nandos today for a quick bite to eat as we know the service and food are pretty reliable. Unfortunately, it wasn't great today. The place was busy however there where very few staff around. We waited 35 minutes for our food and lets face it Nandos is a one trick pony so it shouldn't take that long! While I was waiting I went to get cutlery and noticed the counter was overflowing with plates ready to go. But we still waited. I must add that only 3 people where actually eating in the restaurant at this time everybody else was waiting. This is unacceptable and puts me off of Nandos in Blackpool. When the orders did finally arrive my son had half a chicken and chips, we thought that 1 leg and a small piece of breast was quite stingy so asked the waitress if this was in fact the right order. She said yes that is half a chicken! and what do we think! I said what do you think?... Sorry Nandos its a thumbs down from me, I might add I only had a salad without meat so it didn't even need cooking!
