Alsager Town Centre Pub Reopens After Refurb

The Linley Tavern, situated in the lively town centre of Alsager, has reopened a five-week internal refurbishment from Robinsons Brewery and licensee Janet Jones. The renovation was carried out to broaden the overall appeal of the pub, grow the business within the local and wider community, and to add a brighter look and feel, taking it from a dated community local to a contemporary traditional pub.

“The Linley has always been the ‘go to’ pub for live sport and entertainment,” says Wayne Roach, Business Development Manager at Robinsons Brewery. “With this in mind, we wanted to enhance this but also modernise the space inside, making it a pub for all to enjoy. A small fixed seating area within the bay window of the pub was removed and the area has now been raised to create a new seating area, which doubles up as a stage for live bands.” The bar was replaced with a new modern bar counter and back fitting to enable an improved product display for customers. Throughout the pub, a palette of blues, greys and warm neutrals was used to fashion a relaxed character throughout, along with a new internal lighting scheme to create a warmer ambience.

The Linley Tavern promotes live sporting events and regularly holds entertainment nights, bingo and quiz evenings. The pub offers a delicious range of cask ales including Robinsons’ popular seasonal beers. Both San Miguel and Strongbow Dark fruits are also now available, along with a tasty snack style menu for all to enjoy.
