Barrique launched in Lytham in April 2016 and is opening a second venue across the water in Birkdale in November. The wine shop, deli and bar boasts a state-of-the-art wine vending machine and has built up a great reputation for not only its offering of great wines and gins from around the world, but also its delicious array of small plates, charcuterie and cheeses sourced from local suppliers across Lancashire (watch the video).



Jake Crimmin, former sommelier at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Restaurant and head sommelier at Gaucho, along with Charles Furnell, former Scairbrick Hall student, lead the Lytham team. Barrique will be bringing its state-of-the-art wine vending machine concept to Birkdale, serving wine by the glass at the perfect temperature, giving you the opportunity to sample wines from around the globe without committing to an entire bottle. A place where people can meet in the morning over coffee and pastries, unwind in the afternoon over a glass and casual tapas plates, in a relaxed, Barcelona café-style atmosphere.
