Every six months when the Ring O’ Bells in Christleton, near Chester, changes their menu, they choose a new charity or local cause to donate £1 from every Charity Chicken Burger they sell. This time they chose a local cause that was raising funds for the expansion of New Waverton Play Area. The Head Chef Andrew King lives in Waverton and Waverton Primary School takes part in the Ring O’ Bells Pizza Idol Competition. Ian Wade, Ring O' Bells Managing Director, says, “We love to support local communities and it is a pleasure to present a cheque for £1259 to New Waverton Play Area, which is a great local cause”.
