A Facelift For The Puss In Boots

One of Stockport’s busiest and best-loved pubs, the Puss in Boots on Nangreave Road, Offerton, has had a facelift. The Almond family, working alongside Robinsons Brewery, have added a more contemporary and stylish feel to the décor and at the front of the pub -- in what was the ‘Al Fresco’ -- the area has been transformed from an external, covered dining space, to a light and airy yet cosy conservatory, more suited to all seasons.

“The pub wasn’t desperate for the work,” says Vicki Almond, Company Director. “it’s always been a lovely pub. It is certainly the flagship pub in our group of five, our customers can’t get enough of the place so it’s important we keep reinvesting to maintain this. We’re so excited that the work is now complete, especially the conservatory at the front. By fully converting the ‘al fresco’ area we’ve created so much more room and brought the outside in.”
