Hospitality Action is the trade charity offering a crucial lifeline to people of all ages, working and retired, from the hospitality industry. It’s celebrating its 180th year and has a series of events coming up around the country, including the Annual Northern Golf Day on May 11 and the third annual Le Tour de Cuisine Cotswold Cycle Challenge on June 5.

Annual Northern Golf Day
On Thursday 11th May supporters of Hospitality Action with a penchant for golf are invited to take part in its annual charity Golf Day, at The Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Manchester. Kindly sponsored by Bunzl Catering Supplies, the event takes place on one of the finest inland courses in the North of England. Offering a challenging par of 71 and an 18-hole, PGA championship course across 6,611 yards of land, it’s the perfect day out for any golf enthusiast. The event also offers the perfect opportunity to entertain regular business clients or reward staff. Bookings are now being taken for this exceptional event; attendance is £120 per player or £480 for a four ball. Tickets include tea, coffee and bacon rolls on registration, entry into the Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Longest Putt Competitions and a fabulous BBQ to finish off the day.

Le Tour De Cuisine Cotswold Cycle Challenge

The third annual Le Tour de Cuisine - Cotswold Cycle Challenge, kindly sponsored by Zenith Hygiene Group Plc, which passes through picturesque Cotswold villages and countryside on Monday 5th June. Starting and finishing at the beautiful Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, there are four routes to choose from. The Short Ride, at 20 miles, is perfect for those who fancy a leisurely cycle, taking in the magnificent beauty that the Cotswolds has to offer. For those who are up for more of a challenge, Hospitality Action has also planned two Mid Routes at 40 and 60 miles; and if that’s not tough enough, then the long route at 100 miles might be more to your flavour. Along the way, there will be feeding stations at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa, Whatley Manor and The Swan at Southrop, which will offer an array of delicious delights kindly arranged by local hotels.

The events are open to all and you can view details and make bookings for these and any other events on the Hospitality Action website.
