Recently rebranded and revamped with a fresh contemporary look, Babbo On Scholes Lane in Prestwich is on the site of the former Saporito. This stylish and modern Italian restaurant and bar caters for everyone from couples to families, groups of friends, business lunches, dinners and all kinds of special occasion. Family run, it has quickly become a firm favourite for high-quality and affordable Italian cuisine with a warm welcome as soon as you step through the door.
The menu is varied ranging through traditional pasta dishes, pizza, steak and fish dishes to classic Italian desserts such as Tiramisu and Affogato al Café with all dietary requirements catered for including gluten-free options. There’s also a good choice of carefully selected wines and champagnes as well as house cocktails like the Prosecco Cooler – Aperol, prosecco, lemon juice and soda served with mint, lemon, and cucumber. It’s a perfect way to unwind, especially on the new al fresco terrace on a sunny Manchester afternoon.
To showcase the new venue Babbo are organising their very first Ladies Lunch event. “We are super-excited for our first summer event,” say sisters Laura and Olivia, two of the owners. “We know so many Ladies who love to get together over lunch, so we thought why not pull all the stops out and put on an event to remember. A great way for current customers and new customers to experience fine dining and what our lunchtime menu has to offer.” They are delighted too to support The 22 Bees Project in conjunction with the Manchester Emergency Fund.
The event will take place on Thursday 5th July 2018 from 12 noon to 3pm. Ladies can expect Prosecco on arrival along with Italian canapés and live music. Reservations are being taken and limited places are available. The Ladies Lunch menu is £9.95 and will include a glass of wine or soft drink with table service and a goody bag for Ladies who reserve a table. Men are free to join the event too and guests are free to continue to mix and mingle through the day. To attend this fabulous event please get in touch with Babbo’s PR company who are handling the guest list and enquires and email firstname.lastname@example.org to secure your invite/table.
