The Lodge On Loch Lomond

The Lodge on Loch Lomond is the perfect getaway for those wishing to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life. Originally built 25 years ago with just 10 guest rooms and a small kitchen to accommodate guests, this popular destination now has 47 guest rooms suitable for family getaways, beautiful suites and spaces for weddings indoor and out. And it’s just 23 miles from Glasgow Airport.

The atmosphere at The Lodge on Loch Lomond is intimate, warm and charming and the team are focused on delivering a casual friendly approach. Colquhoun’s Restaurant and Lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind and watch the changing landscape of the loch; the comfy sofas and floor-to-ceiling windows make this a perfect viewing spot and when the Scottish weather allows the Terrace provides a sun trap for dining and drinking al fresco. There are also a range of conference and banqueting facilities for up to 200 guests and leisure facilities consisting of swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and laconium.

The hotel’s location and its very own jetty enables guests to connect with all that Loch Lomond has to offer and local partners provide a range of fun activities to make the most of your stay. Try an exhilarating speedboat trip, or perhaps a more luxurious one-hour yacht cruise, wakeboarding or a canoe safari. A leisurely stroll from the hotel takes you into the quaint village of Luss and you can explore Scotland’s most romantic church and its fabulous grounds or hop on the water bus down to Loch Lomond Shores for a little retail therapy.

A refurbishment programme got underway late last year with the remodelling of the kitchen and bar area followed by many of the guest rooms including the Corbetts and Carter suites. From November 2017 onwards, the Cuillin suites and Munro bedrooms will be among those on the ‘To Do’ list.
