Marco Pierre White Rocks Into Plymouth

Marco Pierre White needs no introduction. The first British chef to be awarded three Michelin stars, he was also the youngest chef in the world to receive the culinary world’s top accolade. He’s now opened a new Plymouth restaurant on the top floor of the Crowne Plaza with stunning views out across the Hoe and on to Cornwall.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill menu is personally curated by the great man. As the name suggests, steak takes centre stage and the 35-day-aged beef is sourced from Royal warrant butchers Campbell Brothers. Choose between fillet, rump, fillet and sirloin for one or Chateaubriand, T-bone and Cote de Boeuf for two.

But if steak isn’t your thing there are plenty of other options, classic dishes ranging from Welsh Rarebit and Chicken Kiev to Baked Camembert and Shepherd’s Pie. It’s all served in luxurious surroundings – ‘affordable glamour’ according to Mr White.
