New Look For Leicester’s Bistrot Pierre

When Leicester’s Bistrot Pierre first opened in 2003, it was the group’s third venue. Today they have 20-plus venues spread across the UK but the East Midlands is still home. “We may have grown but we have strong roots in the region,” says co-founder Rob Beacham. “Leicester was the third restaurant in the Bistrot Pierre family, it’s a restaurant that’s become part of the fabric of the city and we want to ensure that it stays that way by ensuring that it maintains the Bistrot Pierre ethos.”

Situated on Millstone Lane, Bistrot Pierre has undergone a modern refurbishment which has seen the bistrot transformed in readiness for its seasonal autumn/winter menu launch. The refurb has incorporated the group’s fresh new look found within their newer bistrots including a new colour scheme, new lighting, wall art and fittings. “We’re also delighted to now be offering diners our newly launched autumn/winter menu which is now being served at the bistrot. This includes our customers’ favourites boeuf bourguignon maison and confit de canard as well as exciting new dishes including poulet chasseur - which is pan-fried chicken in a classic chasseur sauce of red wine, mushroom and concassé tomato,” says new General Manager Kam Chagger.

The popular lunchtime prix-fixe menu, which changes monthly, is available seven days a week with prices starting at just £9.95, £11.95 and £13.95 for one, two or three courses. A prix-fixe early evening menu will also be on offer until 7pm, with two courses available for £13.95. The bistrot’s evening a la carte menu is also available and is updated seasonally. The restaurant has now reopened to the public and bookings can be made by calling 0116 262 7927.
