Stunning New Bar And Restaurant At The Alderley Edge Hotel

The Alderley Edge Hotel in Cheshire’s most desirable village has opened a stunning new bar and restaurant. The four-star hotel with its three-rosette restaurant is set is a small 19th-century country house, surrounded by picturesque private gardens and just a short distance away from the bustle and buzz of the bars and restaurants of London Road.

 

 

The hotel has been completely transformed to reposition itself as Cheshire’s premier Boutique Hotel. A new entrance and reception leads through to a modern, stylish, open plan bar and restaurant. The look is bright and inviting with an eclectic mix of colour, natural light and contemporary furniture. The change is décor is matched by the change in menu and service standard, with a more relaxed and informal ambiance while maintaining the three-AA-Rosette standard that Alderley Edge Hotel is famous for.

 

 

This marks the first phase of a £2.5 million refurbishment by owners JW Lees, with the redevelopment set for completion by Easter 2018 with all of the bedrooms and function rooms given a similar level of investment. “Our challenge is to realise the vision of the Lees-Jones family, who own Alderley Edge Hotel and to reinforce the hotel as the best boutique hotel in Cheshire,” says General Manager John Scott. “It’s not just about the décor and services but we are aiming to create a modern and welcoming space for people to escape, relax and enjoy beautiful food and drink.” As well as the new restaurant and cocktail bar, the hotel has private meeting rooms, an events suite, and 50 bedrooms.
