Beautiful restaurant in the district of Bloomsbury. Very welcoming staff and excellent food. We recommend this address
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyThe food, the service and the décor of Restaurant La Roma Bella welcomed my visitors to London in a most pleasurable way. They enjoyed Italian food, I devoured a jacket potato, and their children munched on the burgers. The food was served quickly and examining the fine hand-painted murals was a treat for all!
La Roma Bella – BloomsburyI invited my partner to il Fornello to celebrate her promotion. A very demanding lady indeed, she was highly pleased with the service, the food and the price. We both had steaks cooked to perfection. Thumbs up to you Il Fornello!
Zeo’s – BloomsburyI brought my children here. The cheerful staff and vast selection of dishes catered to our needs fabulously. The pastas, pizzas and sorbets brought smiles to the kids faces! The excellent food, quick service and fantastic coffee made me very happy too! We give Trattoria Verdi a mark of 5/5!
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyDelicious food crosses all borders. The food at Yialousa Greek Taverna was sumptuous. We feasted on succulent mezes, moussaka and shish kebab. The manager and waitresses were very friendly--even the cook came out to greet us in his chef's hat! What fun we had at Yialousa Greek Taverna!
Yialousa Greek Taverna – BloomsburyTired and hungry after three and a half hours at the British Museum, our family was given a warm welcome into this enchanting restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent. Burgers, fries, and sodas followed by ice cream, were ordered for the kids; and then for Mum, a soda and generous Italian style salad; and finally for dad a jack potato and a beer. We were genuinely made ready to resume our day. Thank goodness for La Roma Bella for being on hand when my wife and I, and our kids needed a break in our exuberating day.
La Roma Bella – BloomsburyAn old friend came into London to join me in a 10K race, so I wanted to treat her to dinner at the most welcoming and diverse Italian restaurant I know. We went to Trattoria Verdi. We dove into delicious and beautifully presented fish and seafood dishes. The waitress was able to make excellent recommendations for appetizers and wine. The entire day was a phenomenal success, made complete by dinner at Trattoria Verdi. Will be coming again soon.
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyThe warm interior of this wood-panelled restaurant serving pizza made in a wood-burning oven, really caught our imagination, so we tried the salmon fettuccine—absolutely sumptuous, and top notch grilled steak. The meal was heavenly. We also were delighted with the Italian background music, and stylish service. Highly recommended.
Zeo’s – BloomsburyWhen I walked into this restaurant last weekend I felt like I’d walked onto an Italian piazza. With a nice glass of red wine in hand and my plate of lasagna served to our table I was transported south. Actually, since the famous Trevi fountain in Rome is currently dry and under renovations, my family and I were able to admire it better than if we had been in Rome itself, because La Roma Bella has reproduced it as a hand-painted life-like mural. This was a splendid family outing, and we’ll make a point of coming back.
La Roma Bella – BloomsburyTrattoria Verdi summoned the resources and know-how to seat and serve my five famished friends and me without prior reservation. We were impressed with the timely service and the food. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the pastas were delicious and generous, and when we asked about desserts, they rolled in a trolley of fresh, exciting and delectably tasty cakes alongside our table so we could point out our choices. Trattoria Verdi played superb hosts in the face of our gamble to show up unannounced. Five stars for reliability.
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburySeveral friends and I didn’t manage to go away on holiday so we threw a fabulously successful party at Yialousa Greek Taverna to mark the end of summer. There was excellent meat and poultry, delicious home fries and rice, perfectly cooked veg, and crispy salad with fresh ripe tomatoes. The Greek waitresses, background music and wall paintings of Greek views created the warm surrounding we needed to round up the season. I highly recommend going to Yialousa Greek Taverna as a group, because the food is supremely tasty and they know how to keep a party smiling.
Yialousa Greek Taverna – BloomsburyThis restaurant proved to have a very elegant and romantic ambiance, excellent choice of wines, authentic Italian food and even live piano music – all that enabled myself and my lady friend to enjoy each other’s company and have a great time. We both feel grateful to the management of this charming place, and decided to express our gratitude in writing. Grazie!
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyLa Roma Bella delivered great on service during our informal office meeting recently. A cheerful, inspiring location with a variety of dishes helped us to come up with great ideas. Roma Bella is an ideal brain-storming location for a forward-thinking, quality demanding team of young professionals. Well done La Roma Bella!
La Roma Bella – BloomsburyA great dining experience: feeling like you’re in the ancient Rome! Splendid interiors, marble and all that, cheerful friendly waiters, and the food to match it! The pastas we ordered were truly delicious, fresh and the servings generous. My wife, our daughters and myself had a great time after spending the morning in the British Museum, and I would recommend this place to anyone planning a lunch break in this area.
La Roma Bella – BloomsburyMy partner and I visited Trattoria Verdi for the very first time last weekend. We were so happy that two pastas and a bottle of wine could do wonders to celebrate my birthday. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the atmospheric piano music and the friendly service were all ideal for a couple celebrating on a budget. Thank you so much Trattoria Verdi!
Trattoria Verdi – BloomsburyOur company chose Il Fornello to host our “off to the beach” party. The event was organised in a splendid and wonderfully cooperative manner. We really felt our interests came first. The menu was well-chosen, the appreciation for the theme and the exceptional service made our staff very happy, and us too, of course! Highly recommended for office parties!
Zeo’s – BloomsburyMy family and I were surprised to find such amazing Greek food in the heart of London! And I haven’t even said a word about the beautiful décor, which in itself merits a side-trip to see! The service was super friendly and attentive. Hats off Yialousa for bringing the best of Greece to our side of the world!
Yialousa Greek Taverna – BloomsburyWalking down Southampton Row looking for a quick bite at a pleasant place to take my lunch break I came upon Trattoria Verdi, where I have had a fine dining meal before. To me, Trattoria Verdi is an attractive place for every occasion. I was even more convinced of this when I learnt I could to order a three course meal for a song. And no fine print. I was simply great food for a fair price. I chose the whitebait, which came with potatoes and vegetables. It was a tourist menu, too! When a restaurant can serve a tasty tourist menu you know it can be trusted!
