Lovely meal and great service, particularly on such a busy occasion- Christmas Eve. We were so well looked after and the food was amazing.
Cafe Italia – BoltonFood was defo a 10:10 best lasagne I've ever had. Staff lovely too.
Cafe Italia – BoltonAlways a good meal, good atmosphere and value
Cafe Italia – BoltonI visited with my friend 15th December for our Christmas lunch. After some deliberation we both opted for the Christmas panini on the specials menu, we were looking forward to at as we really didn’t want a flatbread which is on the sandwiches menu. When it arrived we were extremely disappointed to find that it wasn’t a panini as advertised but a flatbread! Which to be honest was tough and far to thick so had to eat the filling and leave it. We did mention to the waitress and said you do need to change how you’ve advertised it, because it clearly wasn’t a panini!! Based on this I am in no hurry to return.
Cafe Italia – BoltonA very warm welcome on arrival. Although the restaurant was very busy the food and service were excellent. Our party of 6 all ordered different starters and mains and no complaints from anyone, everyone had a great evening. Thank you to all the friendly staff. Will be back.
The Pavilion – BoltonMy favourite restaurant, authentic Italian food delicious with fantastic portions
Cafe Italia – BoltonWe were a party of four. We always enjoy dining at The Pavillion and this visit was no different. It's a superb setting and creates a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy Indian cuisine at its finest. The proprietors are always friendly and offer a very warm welcome. They are attentive to detail when taking orders and serving the courses, and very helpful in describing dishes and advising choice to suit taste. The food is of the highest quality, always beautifully presented and offers great value for money. Quite simply, nothing is too much trouble for the team who seek only to make sure diners enjoy their experience and will want to return again, and again, and again. It's no wonder why The Pavillion has won the Bolton News Restaurant of the Year award for two yesrs running. Thank you so much for making our visit a most pleasant one. We will see you again, soon.
The Pavilion – BoltonVery disapointing to be honest the tikka starter came served on as hot plate and was cold so obviously prepared earlier then when we shared starters out the young guy just came and took the 2 starter plates with all the salad on without asking !! main meal was nice but wont be returning !! The staff seem in a hurry to get you out as always stood looking while your eating...
The Pavilion – BoltonFood was excellent We were running a little late, I telephoned them and they were brilliant. Great service
Cafe Italia – BoltonI am sorry to say that we were extremely disappointed. Started well with ice cold beers and a good selection of dips with the poppadoms but then went down hill. Chicken tikka starter was good but mixed grill meat was very chewy. King prawn skewer was like eating rubber and chicken madras was watery & tasteless. The free Bailey's shots afterwards were a nice touch though, don't get that so much these days. Fresh orange segments & hand wipes too. Service was quick & friendly staff. Wouldn't have probably written a review but they emailed fterwards asking how it was, so.....

The Pavilion – BoltonQuality of food was excellent. Unfortunate that mistakes were made in service. This is not the first time.
Cafe Italia – Boltonwe where a party of 8 eating and we all agreed our meal was spot on, the staff where brilliant, funny and very attentive.Food fab and plenty of it, would definatley recommend it.
The Pavilion – BoltonFood was ok apart from a potion of tandoori lamb chops . The problem was they were too fatty chewy and just inedible. We sent them back and asked for them to be taken off the bill instead they brought them back to the table and proceeded to handle the chops saying the other chops were fine so these must be ok waving them in front of us it was ridiculous then he said because she had tried to eat a couple of the chops they would not be happy to take the dish off our bill but maybe half the cost . When we asked them to take them away and take the whole dish off the bill this one guy who said he was the manager was so rude and absolutely unreasonable. It’s like something out of Fawlty Towers. Totally pathetic service . We finished our meals and drinks then another manager came over about 15 minutes later and apologised and offered us a small brandy honestly too little too late. I will cancel our Christmas booking Definitely not the best there are loads of places with much better food and service . Plus it was so packed over booked and we waited over 1/2 hour for our booked table then another half hour before we ordered adequate just not that great on all areas .
The Pavilion – BoltonWe enjoyed the meal . Good value for money for the set meal for 2. Service was really good. Any thing we could not eat we can take home even the bottle of wine We will come back again. And we would recommend the pavilion to anyone .
The Pavilion – BoltonWe came for a birthday meal and pre-booked. Unfortunately we were kept waiting for a good 20 minutes. Food was beautiful, served hot & was definitely fresh. Great value for money & lots of choices on the menu. Portions are big - we had to bring some home. Was difficult to get the servers attention on a few occasions, but when we did they were polite & very helpful.
Cafe Italia – BoltonLovely food. Piping hot great size portion . Staff where very polite and knowledgeable. Great value for money.
