Prashad – Bradford10 of us ate at Prashad last night - the service was fantastic and the food ... Well what can I say ?. We are not normally such a quiet bunch but once the food arrived we sat there with big grins on our faces as we tucked in to sublime veg thalis - a delicious selection of the tastiest curries, daals, roti and rice. All washed down by lovely smooth lassi. We WILL be back !! Well done Prashad !
Prashad – BradfordThe family at Prashad richly deserve the success experienced on television recently - even the usually aggressive Gordon Ramsey appeared moved at how much their love for each other and their love for creating beautiful food has lead to their success. I heartily recommend this restaurant - the food is always a wonderful combination of sense awakening flavours, creativity and passion .... enjoy!
Prashad – Bradfordthe food is spot on.I travel to bradford just for kasmir curry. The Roti is the best i have eaten and i have eat in loads of Indians.I agree with one previous comment the food is slightly better cooked for some strange reason when you sit downstairs.I still LOVE it.
Kashmir – BradfordAbsolutely tasty food, The staff are both polite and friendly, We had the mixed Platter for starters which gave you a taste of 5 or 6 different starters and it was full of flavour. Will be visiting again soon !!!
Prashad – BradfordDuring a trip to York last week (from Bucks) we did a detour to Bradford specifically to have lunch at Prashad and boy, are we glad we did! At the time we didn't know it was in Ramsays Best Restaurant competition, but that accolade was totally deserved and it has to be the best Indian meal we have had to date, bar none! The service and quality of food was excellent and if you go, make sure you have the Pethis (spiced coconut and potato balls) and the special Chaat.. they were both divine. Well done Prashad and keep up the excellent work. Oh and of course, good luck in the semi final, we will be rooting for you!
Prashad – BradfordThe friendliest staff....and the tastiest food ever !! Well worth travelling from Lincoln to eat there! Thank you so much for a lovely night out.
Prashad – BradfordWe saw your programme yesterday on Gordon Ramsey and it was amazing, the bond between the family was great and it shows that love and unity can prosper the business. We @ Mr Singhs Punjabi Foods wish you all the best for the future and we are sure that you will be crowned the best restaurant in UK All the best Kamal Sahota
Prashad – BradfordCongratulations on the result in last nights Ramsey programme. Well done to you all. I enjoyed my nieces wedding lunch with you on 1st May this year and it was wonderful. Good luck for the next round.
Prashad – BradfordSpecial, loved it loved it, delish! We've just seen your victory on Gordon Ramsey's show well deserved, well done and well worth our trip over from Manchester cant wait to come back. Many thanks Martin and Karen.
Prashad – BradfordCongratulations to you all...
Prashad – BradfordI saw this place on the Ramsay programme last week and wanted to check it out before it hit the screen this week. It was well worth a visit. I'd certainly go again. As a veggie, it was a delight to be able to read the whole menu and make a choice from everything that was there. I opted for the mixed starter to share and there was more than enough to feed two people, every single element was delicious. Service was top notch and as another reviewer commented, Kaushy does indeed come out to check that ever diner is happy with their food, a very nice touch. There’s no rush to turn-over tables and you’re made to feel very welcome. Overall, an excellent restaurant that’s not in the slightest pretentious combined with a very reasonable price tag. For veggies, it’s a must and for all the carnivores an excellent change.
Prashad – BradfordFirst time at the restaurant and it certainly won't be the last. The menu was quite daunting for someone not familiar with veggie food but we needn't have worried, Bobby's attentiveness and explanations were all that we needed. Kaushy even found time to come out from the kitchen to see us. Good luck to everyone in Ramsay's Restaurant of the Year. Without seeing the preview that Prashad would be appearing on the Ramsay programme, we would never have known the place existed. We certainly do now. Thank you once again. The food was delicious.
Prashad – BradfordSimply the best, if only I could eat there every day :)
Prashad – BradfordSugarvine's write-up and photo don't do this place justice - Prashad is an exceptionally delicious place to eat. I gladly take family and friends the hour-long journey from York just to taste the special chaat and masala dosa. Kaushy and Minal's street food specialities and traditional curries are a different class from Indian restaurant food from anywhere else, and the friendly service means I even take the children! Wish I lived closer.
Prashad – BradfordOn Sunday afternoon we went to Leeds with our visitor from India where he gave a brilliant lecture on ‘Karma’. Afterwards we came top Prashad for a meal. Our guest had spring rolls, paneer masala and Naan. We had bhel supreme, masala dosa, chickpea cholé and puris. It was a perfect end to the day. Our guest was very pleased with the meal, the atmosphere of Prashad and the first-class service that was provided by our ever-smiling, pleasant, efficient waiter. Thank you Prashad.
Prashad – BradfordI recommend Prashad for its own home made vegetarian meal. The family are very friendly, advices us on which food goes with which. And if its a dish i cant make at home...i know i can always get it from them. Homely/friendly/caring and i love it.
Prashad – BradfordPrashad is perhaps one of only a few real Indian restaurants. The food is well prepared and has the home made feel of it. The fact that it is vegetarian is a real bonus as this really underpins the authenticity of the food. I commend it and would recommend everyone to have a chaat at least. Ummmmm
