A restaurant worth driving 20 miles from Holmfirth to Bradford to eat in, passing many Bradford eating places on the way. Do not be put off by the title 'vegetarian', this is a vegetarian restaurant with diverse dishes to suit many tastes including 'light' options. We are not vegetarians but the food is far superior to and more interesting than most eating places we know. The service is friendly and quick, the food is freshly cooked while you wait and as hot and spicy as you wish with dishes suitable for children. A simple decor belies the delights within.

This is the best restaurant in the world. EAT AS MUCH AS U CAN 4 £5.99. That like FREE!!! LOL!!!

This place has gone downhill in my estimation!. The quality of food is over rated and to say the place is cramped, is understating the fact. It spoils the whole experience, dont you think?. An advance booking usually involves a wait of 30min or so. A friend of mine booked a table for 9 and upon arrival they were informed casually by the waiter that only 6 would be accommodated for. Ridiculous !.

does this restaurant have a website? i heard it was one of the oldest in uk and has a history of famous Sheesh kebabs and masala fish!! FORGET Mummy'z! AKBARS! or saffaron!! this is the most authentic Place with fantastic Family ambiance!! a true taste of kashmiri taste - My father loved it, i love it, and my 3rd generation juniors adore it too!

This is one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Bradford and we try and dine here as often as we can. We are always accorded a very warm welcome and offered a first rate service. The food is always top-notch. We have several favourite dishes, so we tend to alternate choosing from baingan bhajia, bataka wada, bhel supreme and pani puri for our starters and masala dosa, utthapam, idli sambar, zucchini and peas and the aubergine dish for our main courses.

I had heard so much about Prashad, a wonderful vegetarian restaurant that was in Bradford. Then in early December at last I had the chance to visit it. I was delighted with what I found. The menu is more unusual than the standard fare found at other Asian restaurants. I have been to India and found the dishes such as bhel, pani puri, massala dosa, idli sambar, very reminiscent of my happy times spent there. All in all it was a most pleasurable experience that I hope to repeat many times in the future.

sat 3rd jan 2009, after seeing a sign out side the raggalds saying, lunchtimes 2 course £7.95p and 3 course £9.95p we went in, but inside were told by the staff that sign out side was only for Sunday lunchtime, but it does not say that, we ordered 2 courses, soup, it tasted of water, no seasoning at all, then, chicken pie, with mash and trio of veg, what i got was not poss to eat, so sorry we will never eat there again, the bill was £29.25p, but we did get £10 off for complaining,

We had a wonderful experience: from excellent service to a range of different flavours. We are not vegetarians and would say to other meat eates give meat a miss for a night and experience the taste of something different

first time here today for a christmas party and what can i say. absolutely wonderful service, polite funny and very helpful, very delicious food and the entertainment was certainly fun. owner gave me free shots wonderful woman! i am sooo having my birthday here. i would definitely reccomend.

We love it. My partner and I go at least monthly for our favourites - we travel all the way from Hebden Bridge as it so great. I really recommend the special chaat.

Being vegetarian and fed up of ordering the same blandest vegetable curry usually with no thought put into it, a friend recommended Prashad. Forget about all other curry chefs, big restaurants and big names etc, this family run restaurant/ deli has to be one of the best kept secrets in Bradford! Fresh food, perfectly cooked and delivered to my door in 30 minutes! I most certainly will be ordering again and I will be telling all my friends. 11 out of 10 Prashad, thanks for a great veggie meal that you can be proud of!
