Old Brickworks Brewers Fayre – BradfordI? sorry but I think the service is very good the staff are very nice and will attend to your needs and get to you as soon as possible as they are low on staff and Saturdays are very busy nights but the owner is employing staff all the time
Stansfield Arms – BradfordJust had a weekend away with my wife to leeds, and one place i had to try and see for myself was Akbars (The Grand) on entering Akbars on a Saturday evening about 7ish the restaurant was full to the rafters, we asked for a table for 2 and was seated almost rightaway, by a very kind waiter, within 2 minuets we had the Popodoms and the pickles on the table, with drinks served about 1 minute later, Our starter was the start of things to come, with chicken tikka for the wife, and sheek kabab for me, Lush, Main Course, Tikka Chicken with Keema meat was out of this world, never tasted anything like it before, and the wife's Chicken Bhuna was mild enough for her, what next, a Garlic Nan the size of Mini Cooper Tyre, Hot and very tasty. watching all the cooks doing their thing was something. Indian Restaurant's i've been to does'nt come as near to perfection as Akbars does. Car'nt wait to go back
Akbars Balti Restaurant – BradfordIts not the best Chinese meal I've ever had but I've never been disappointed, and some dishes are excellent(many of the noodle and fish dishes). Starters are excellent and large in portion. Can be a little cramped when busy but thats because it has a nice cosy feel to the place. Take away service around the side is excellent.
Kings Cantonese Restaurant – BradfordFrankie and Bennies is an Italian style chain restaurant. The food is good but but the music really started to grate when I visited. It's quite loud and they had the same 60s CD on loop the entire time I was there.
Frankie and Bennys – Bradforddiscovered this place 6 months ago and have been loads of times since - it has taken over from the mumtaz and nawaab for me. absolutely brilliant food - fish masala to die for.
Punjab Sweet House and Chargrill Centre – BradfordAnam's was a gem of a find! A virtuous treasure trove of taste and as we all know that's what Indian's are all about! The food was superb, although i thought a little rich. Me and my fiancee had an excellent buffet for £11.95 per head. 16 mains, 8 starters, naan, salad bar and sweets to boot, amazing. Needless to say we'll definitely be visiting again, if not just for the huge fish pond in the centre, Thanks Anams!
Anams Restaurant – BradfordI go to frankie and benny's ALL the time, because i love the food and atmosphere so much!!! i love the music, its such a fun place to go, and very laid back!
Frankie and Bennys – BradfordFood was great, staff are friendly and very helpful. Eat out quite often and this is by far the best place we go for quality, atmosphere and value for money. I recommend trying the Sky Feast.
Blue Sky Cantonese Restaurant – Bradfordit is a very good restaurant
Anams Restaurant – BradfordFood fantastic staff very helpful and friendly
Kiplings Restaurant – BradfordI went to eat and i got a good service from the supervisor Amjid he was very good. i will be coming back to eat and i thank Amjid no one can beat Amjid
Punjab Sweet House and Chargrill Centre – BradfordAhh Omars. One of the first place freshers in Bradford will go to. Their student deals make them ridiculously cheap and the "largest naan in Yorkshire" claim is no lie. The food is fairly average fair but still tasty and the accompaniment of a giant garlic naan just makes the meal that little bit more special. No alcohol licence but they don't seem to mind you bringing your own. The place is always crowded with students and the TV usually plays bollywood which can be rather distracting but good fun none the less. There's better curry to be had in bradford, but certainly no better student atmosphere.
Omars – BradfordFor a truly unique Indian curry try Omar Kahns. Their menu not only includes the traditional balti house fare but also includes a comprehensive selection of house specials and new creations which are simply to die for. The staff are friendly and efficient. It can get pretty crowded but there is a couch area to sit and wait for a table. Get in early to beat the rush and give the pomegranate curry a try.
Omar Khans – BradfordFaultless quality amazing food within a clean modern restaurant. i have been here many times and each time i am impressed with everything from the friendly welcome i receive to the mix of traditional and modern/experimental food. this is what eating out is really about and these guys deserve every credit they get. reading other reviews left for this restaurant i can see im not the only person who rates them!
Kebabeesh – Bradfordcoming from an Italian background, i know how i expect an Italian atmosphere to be, and this restaurant delivers such an atmosphere, the food is superb with an excellent choice and a wine list to match its a place id like to frequent.
Ital Restaurant – BradfordBeen to the Greyhound on many occasions. I personally think the food menu during the week offers more choice as opposed to the set Sunday menu. The Glazed Gammon Joints are not to be missed. If you are wanting a belly buster of a mixed grill, I challenge you to finish it (I only just managed. Best to book in advance as this pub is very popular and has limited tables. A good choice of real ales (for all you camra enthusiasts) and the pub has its own cricket ground alongside the car park, ideal for those lazy summer afternoons. Very pleasant atmosphere, staff and good value for money.
Greyhound Inn – BradfordMy friends and I eat here very regularly and are never disappointed. The food is really good - it is the only place I've eaten in that does king prawn dishes justice (I don't agree with the other assessment of only 5 prawns - never had this) and the lamb is gorgeous too. In our opinion it is better than any of the 'big name' curry places in Bradford. Excellent food and superb service.
