We had a good walk along the lovely flat beach with our visiting dog. We had booked lunch at the Cow Shed with the dog, it was a nice lunch, nothing fancy but food good. There were many other dogs all were well behaved, and it was good to be able to take a dog inside for a change as the weather was a bit chilly for outside! Will certainly use the Cow Shed again, even when we don’t have our doggy visitor.

Recommended by a friend we booked for Sunday lunch for 4 people at 3pm. Booked as that was recommended and we were meeting family. Upon arrival we were told that there were no roast dinners left- very disappointed as it was Sunday lunch we had booked for. The specials were a vegetarian option or fish and chips. Opted for a burger as allergic to fish. My wife had creamy mushrooms and family had a fish finger sandwich and fish and chips - definitely not a Sunday lunch. As we were told to book then the number of covers would have been known and therefore that number should have been catered for with the full menu. The food we had was of a good quality but expensive for what it was. Wine choice limited.

As always lovely. Excellent food lovely staff. My favourite in Bridlington. The best garlic bread and of course wonderful pasta. Really like the house white wine.

Called for lunch on Saturday afternoon with my wife and our dog as we were staying in Bridlington for the weekend and it was recommended in the chalet paper work where we were staying Food and service was excellent my wife had the scampi and I had the steak sandwich both of which were delicious Finished of with cake and coffees Will be staying in the same chalet at south beach again so will defiantly be back for more Highly recommend

Been going into Bridlington for a while and always said we need to try this place. Why haven’t we been sooner, beautiful food, and lovely place to eat. The staff are brilliant, we will certainly be returning. Love it and very highly recommend. Thank you for a great meal.

Food was delicious, limited menu but demonstrates that things are home made. There is a specials board which again is small but varied. Great setting and wonderful view, staff were attentive and very accommodating. There is a small area where dogs are not able to go but that doesn’t stop the noise. The only downside was that it was like eating in a dog kennel. Its main clientele appear to be dog walkers and they are able to take their dogs into the building. The day we went it was raining heavily and a couple came in with four wet dogs that wandered round their table and had wet towels on the floor. When one dog yelped other dogs barked! If we hadnt already paid for our food I would have left. So overall absolutely great if you like good food and dogs, if like me you like good food and believe dogs should be elsewhere, not the place for you (or me).

A really excellent dining experience.Can reccomend the Auburn Burger, totally delicious. Also the beef and blue cheese rissoles from the specials menu were tasty and full of flavour. Also an excellent decaffeinated coffee which we don't find everywhere we eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Cow Shed is certainly on our list of places to eat. We will be back.
