The bar menu offers just wonderful lamb koftas. The main menu includes a steak which was cooked perfectly but for me it is the Sunday lunches where the New Inn excels, they are just the best.

After various friends recommended The Bull in Ditchling for a good pub lunch, I was a little disappointed. I ordered sea bass with risotto and it was quite a small slightly burnt portion of sea bass and the risotto was luke warm, presented without any "leafage" or vegetables. My partner ordered sausage and mash and although tasty, there wasn't enough onion gravy. Again, no dressing, greenery or other vegetables to add colour to the dish.
