The Brewers Arms at Banwell – WinscombeVisited on a special menu night held on a Friday evening. Food was faultless, the service friendly and warm, and the atmosphere of this beautiful little pub was the real highlight! Gorgeous inside and out with plenty of places of choice to sit and enjoy - all set next to a little river. We tried Salmon, Steam and lamb chops, all were fantastic. Thanks again!
The Brewers Arms at Banwell – WinscombeHad a lovely roast last Sunday. Meat was cooked to perfection and service was great. Have already booked for next Sunday. A hidden gem. Highly recommend
The Brewers Arms at Banwell – WinscombeBest I have tasted for years. Took me back in time.
Winscombe Fish Bar – Winscombegluten free batter BRILLIANT
Winscombe Fish Bar – WinscombeA wonderful country pub and restaurant. Excellent service plus quite remarkable food - all at reasonable prices - make this establishment a GEM. The only problem with making a recommendation is that the place is overcrowded already - so we do not want anymore !
Nelson Arms The – WinscombeI disagree with other recommendations as i found the Nelson Arms to be a lovely pub. The Carvery was a very reasonable price and you get alot on the plate! Inside the tables and decor is very cosy and modern. There is a lovely outside area with benches too. The menu was very varied and the staff were very friendly and helpful to me and my family. Best Carvery in the West.
Nelson Arms The – Winscombethe food was ok, nothing special though. A change in the ownership would be good as it seems she doesn? care about there customers. the young man that served us was very nice and a very smart man I believe his name was James. the place was run down and looked like it needed a make over
Nelson Arms The – WinscombeThe visit was our first, fairly busy, good sign especially as they were all eating. We were not disappointed when our meals arrived. I had a huge salad with chicken breast on top and a myriad of ingredients I was well pleased and, well full. My parents have been back a few times and still say it? as good and seems to be a lot busier than there first visit. Well worth a visit.
Churchill Inn – WinscombeEvery Friday and Saturday evening: 2 meals for £20.
